LED tail lights cracking

Mine were replaced by dealer no question s asked!

It was not. I popped them out and used some clear epoxy. Better than $500 bucks.
Did you have to replace the circuit board? Same issue here- no other dings or dents on my truck- cracked right at the same. But enough condensation is gotten in that I no longer have turn signals or brake lights

Both my tail lights are cracked too. It started with intermittent turn signals being out. Then it went to no lights. No I have no brake lights at all on my passenger side. Have already started getting some electronic issues. I really hope I'm not headed down the same road you just went down. I can't believe such an expensive light was made so crappy. I just had my motor replaced... This is ridiculous!

I haven't noticed any cracking but I have noticed the blind spot part of the tail lights are turning a pinkish color, not sure if that area gets hot or what. I was thinking about trading them out for the black ones on the night edition but they are pricer then i thought they were around $630 a piece.

I sent these pictures to my dealership today for my 2021 Built to Serve Edition. I asked them if they heard and/or saw any defects and was told no. I mentioned apparently a lot of folks are having the same as it was posted on this forum.

Mine are like that too.
Never noticed it until I spray tinted my lights. It sticks out at night when the lights are on... Ugh

My 2020 Limited is in the shop right now for a related issue. Condensation in the light housing caused some type of short on a pin in the wiring harness. UConnect went down while driving, loss of function to all related controls were noted. Now I’m waiting on Ram Cares for a reply because dealership didn’t want to honor my case as a quality related issue stemming from the tail lights. Good luck, I’ll update when I hear back.

hello, same thing for me, the dealership didn't want to apply the warranty, my truck is 2020 29,200 miles,.... its crazy,.... how you take this, I mean how you deal whit a dealer who say in their opinion its a hit , for its obvious a bad design ,... its that kind of bad joke! and now I need to decide, pay for my self or take out the truck because the warranty department declined my claim,....

I also have stupid hairline cracks and dealer claims I got hit by something even though cracks are from inside. My warranty ends in a couple months on my 2020. Sad that they won’t cover this. I live by the ocean so salt water is for sure going to give me electrical issues.

I have a 2020 ram and my tail lights are doing the same thing. My truck is 3 1/2 years old with 14200 miles. The dealer won't even think about fixing them due to being out of warranty. It really sucks. The problem is in the molding of the part. The red material is injected into the mold first and then the clear is injected. These cracks are caused by stresses in the plastic when the material is to cold or the injection pressures are to high.
