Mark- I appreciate you sentiment but the words ring hollow. I have an active case that has gotten no resolution after mutiple trips to the dealer. Case #68212567. I look forward to you escalating this issue and getting it resolved. Thanks.

Alex

Hey Alex,

Thank you for following up. I sincerely apologize for the frustration associated with your situation. After looking into your case, I do see that your case manager is awaiting a return phone call from your dealer so that he may follow up with you regarding next steps. Please reach back out to our team if you do not hear from your case manager by Friday.

Hi illucid,

I do apologize for not catching that. If you continue to work with your dealer to address this, we suggest contacting Canadian Customer Care to have this documented. You may find their contact information by clicking on the following link and scrolling down to the "Canada" tab: https://www.fcagroup.com/en-US/footer/Pages/contacts.aspx.

Your issue sounds very similar to mine. I popped the vent out with some dash tools. It was very easy. The rattle seems to be coming from where the instrument cluster and dash meet right near the left drivers vent. I think the cluster or dash is going to have to come out. I have an appointment Thursday with the dealer. I am not optimistic because they don't seem very motivated to help solve the issue. I have opened a case with Chrysler/Fiat but so far they haven't provided any resources. Let me know if you make any headway.
Did you ever get a resolution from your dealer? I removed the cluster ring like KRField described and showed in his photo but that didn't solve my rattle/buzz....
I suppose I can remove more of the panels to narrow it down but gd....

I found another source for interior rattle that sounds like it’s in the dash. The cover plate behind the door handle. Trying to figure out how to silence it.

I think I may have found the rattle behind the rear seat in mine. I think it is coming from the cab vent between the cab and bed. When you shut the passenger rear door and look down between the bed and cab you can see the vent open and close. This may be the source but I have no way to access it myself. Going to have the dealer look at it when I go in.

Same here, I took mine in for the door rattle and they said it is coming from the cab vents and it's normal.

I have a rattle that sounds like its coming from the front passenger door or the pillar between the passenger front and rear doors. Most of the time I am alone driving, so its kind of hard to diagnose. It drives me insane! If anyone has found the source of a rattle in this area I sure would like to know what it was.

I have this exact same rattle now. It started this morning on the way to work. Did you ever narrow it down or find a fix for it? Thanks for any help you can provide!

Did you ever confirm the source of the rattle...was it the cab vents? I have a rattle that comes from the back, really gets going around 50+ mph. Thought it was my Leer Canopy, but I've pretty much eliminated that. I've already looked behind the seats and taped down the LF modulator that was loose...this rattle is driving me nuts!

I took mine back to the dealer...they took dash and console apart and put foam tape in necessary areas.... NO MORE NOISES!!!!
I'm new to this site so please be patient with me (not sure how to start a thread). I purchased a new 2019 1500 classic about two months ago. It was solid until 1000 miles on the odometer( has 1600 now). Started getting rattles in the dash around radio when on roads with "imperfections" Now the passenger door panel rattles when I hit a bump. I'm reading where others are having rattle issues so I don't feel alone. I have a Hyundai accent with 141,000 miles on it and it is more solid then the ram. Any suggestions would help
