I have an annoying rattle in my center stack as well. I think I’ve narrowed it down to the toggle switch module; if I press or pull on it it’ll stop for a bit, but it always comes back. Anyone know how if the toggle switch bank comes off?
Its attached to the whole centre stack which is fairly easy to remove. You can pull that off separately from the inside.

Did you ever find a solution? I have the same issue with my '19 Laramie (3k miles, sound from beginning). I thought at first it was interior steering wheel but zeroed in on the driver vent area. Some bumps and rough roads make an awful buzz that sounds like loose washer buzzing around. I too thought about removing the vent but haven't gone that far yet.
Your issue sounds very similar to mine. I popped the vent out with some dash tools. It was very easy. The rattle seems to be coming from where the instrument cluster and dash meet right near the left drivers vent. I think the cluster or dash is going to have to come out. I have an appointment Thursday with the dealer. I am not optimistic because they don't seem very motivated to help solve the issue. I have opened a case with Chrysler/Fiat but so far they haven't provided any resources. Let me know if you make any headway.

cool, thanks. I'll let you know if I find anything out. Curious what your dealer comes up with too.

Does anyone have instructions for removing instrument cluster and or entire dash in 2109 Ram Limited?

Maybe I have my expectations too high, but nothing gets me more annoyed than rattles on a brand new truck. I noticed sometimes there will be a rattle coming from the gauge cluster area it appears when I hit some small bumps in the road. Last time I was at the dealer, the technician couldn't find it, which Im sure he didn't even drive it. I know its a truck, but when you spend $57k you would expect the rattles not too occur until it gets older. Anyone else experiencing rattles inside?
I took mine back to the dealer...they took dash and console apart and put foam tape in necessary areas.... NO MORE NOISES!!!!

I have a 2019 Limited Level 1, and found a "module" about half the size of a pack of cigarettes that was loose behind the center rear seat. You have to remove the center carpeted "flap" that is behind the center seat. It is held on with magnets (which might have also caused a rattle), then reach down through the opening, and you will feel the module. It's only held on at the top with two push-pins, and is very loose. I just shoved a folded Kleenex beneath it, and taped it to the rear firewall with some painter's tape. no more rattle.

Those with the rattle by the drive side vent and near cluster. I pulled the trim ring on my dash to clean the cluster face. I found the center top metal retaining clip had come out. I popped it back in and all rattles are gone. To remove the cluster ring pry the bottom towards you then pry the top down. I will try to put up some picks in about an hour.

Pics of the metal clip, if it is out you may have to pry it open a bit before reinserting to get a snug fit

I would very much appreciate pictures. I have pulled the plastic ring around the cluster and didn't see anything out of the ordinary. I was thinking about pulling the cluster out completely but was a little hesitant. Thanks in advance.

Do you have # 19 and #21? How to you get those instructions? They are extremely helpful. Thanks in advance.

Perfect! Thanks so much. Did you ever resolve your Apple Carplay issue. I am having the same issue and am considering replacing the USB/media hub.

You bet.

No resolution on my USB hub issue. It's random and sometimes works for a week straight until it fails for a day or two on all ports.
I will prob take it back after the holidays. The problem has been that it always seems to work when I drop it off, so it's pretty hard to troubleshoot. I just wish they would replace the hub and see if that fixes it.

I have developed a rattle somewhere where the A Pillar meets the dash on the passenger side, could also be the speaker or speaker cover.

I have a rattle on the rear passenger door. This only happens when I close the door and can hear it from the outside. I took it to the dealership about two months ago or so and they had it for two days trying everything to fix this issue and no luck. They dropped it of to a body shop and it was there for 3 days to fix it. They ended up adding some sound deadening inside the panel hoping that will fix the issue but no changes. I am taking it back in next week to look at it again plus couple other things.

Wish my dealer would do this :( @RamCares
I agree. My dealer treats me like the enemy. There is an obvious disconnect between Ram and its dealers and how they are compensated to do warranty work vs non-warranty work. You would think making a 2x new truck (2016 Longhorn 1500 and 2019 Limited 1500) owner happy would be a high priority.

Hi illucid & alramguy,

Your sentiments expressed here are completely understandable. We are more than happy to escalate cases on your behalf if you address this with your dealers again. This will allow us to have your concerns formally documented, as well as to ensure that all potential solutions are explored regarding the rattle that you are experiencing. Mark- I appreciate you sentiment but the words ring hollow. I have an active case that has gotten no resolution after mutiple trips to the dealer. Case #68212567. I look forward to you escalating this issue and getting it resolved. Thanks.

Alex
