HVAC Squeak after truck is shut down

This is interesting. As I shut down the truck last night and heard the wonderful whistle, I remembered to check the sticker. My sticker has the 567g marking. So I have the correct sticker at least. Guess it is time to make the apt and let the dealer have the truck for a day.

The 2019 DT doesn't have a 3.0 L engine as far as I can tell. That looks like an old label from the previous generation 1500 that offered the 3.0L ecodiesel.

The part numbers are the same (68277016) but yours is variant AA, whereas mine is AB. That should signify that my sticker is more current. The question is, did your dealer mess up (likely, boring answer), or did they get things wrong when they made the new sticker (unlikely, but more interesting answer) and haven't made others aware of it.

It sounds to me like they got the stickers wrong, overcharged @Ram79hemi AC system and ruined his compressor. May be that your build date needs it though.

I also have this issue, I was going to ask my dealer to take a look at my next oil change.

Any ideas on the fix for this?

Haven't taken mine in yet. AC works great, and I don't want the dealer "fixing" (read: breaking) something when I don't have clarity on the front end about what the correct fill level should be.

Okay ,sorry for the delay but I work in construction and this summer has been crazy.
The dealer originally had said i had the wrong level of refrigerant in my a.c. System that was causing the squeak noise. So they recharged the system with that right amount. Totally screwed my a.c. System, I lost a.c. Within three days gone!!
Contacted the dealer brought the truck back in. They now said I need to contact ram cause I need a new a.c. Condenser and the part isn't available. Some words were exchanged!!! I leave and contact ram. They said they will look into the situation.
The next day the dealer contacted me and said they have a part to fix my a.c. and to Bring the truck in.
I bring the truck in they recharged my a.c. And I left.
The next day the squeak was back.
Contacted the dealer again!!!
Called the dealer again, brought my truck in for the fourth time.
They ended replacing two a.c. Expansion valves and a couple of seals.
So far it has worked.

Wow, that's quite the ordeal. Sorry you had to go through that.

They replaced the expansion valve in my truck to.. it’s been over a week and the noise hasn’t come back.

I brought mine in a few weeks ago for this and the dealer dia a TSB Software update. AC works great with Auto and very rarely do i hear a soft level of that noise anymore. I think only 2 or 3 times and barely audible. @RamCares took care of me even though the dealer never called them back. See how things go in spring as WI AC season is about over.

I have the same noise is there a suggestion as to how to approach my dealership about this?

Yes, I recorded the noise on my phone. Which helped the technician determine the problem. I was told it was a a\c expansion valve.

I would suggest you mention the noise it is making and that you heard there is a HVAC software update and would like to have your truck checked for all updates.

I have sent the dealership a email and booked appointment. We shall see how they do compared to the horrible ford i had before.

well they said it's normal noise, they observed it and even with the images of this thread for the service tickets, the tsb, and the video from youtube which is the exact same issue I'm having the dealership claims it's a normal noise, and the tsb doesn't apply to my vin number. They did say I have warranty so if it fails bring it in but it's not failing according to them. I don't know what to say about that. This isn't something I paid for it's a noise that although subtle happens when I shut the vehicle down last about 5 seconds and sounds like a tone key off whining high low high again then dissipating. Other than waiting for an all out failure, what can I do through ram to get my dealership to address the problem now?
