I just transplanted the switch into my 21 TRX trying to figure out what I need to do next. Wish I new a dealer who could add the sales code to my VIN vcan it be done remotely? I have Alpha OBD from my 2018 but no security bypass not sure if the tazer DT will work with that as a bypass anyone know? From what I read this can also enable lane assist? From what I've been told I already have all the other modules installed.

You can't use the Tazer DT. You will need a security bypass and AlfaODB to enable the settings.

I thought I read somewhere that the tazer DT would work as a security bypass for alpha OBD? I have the bypass for my 2018 PW will that work on a 21?

You have two methods at your disposal- the tazer will be the bypass since it replaces the security gateway module, and a bypass cable from a 2018 HD Ram will work on DT Rams since they use the same junction block connectors- the canbus junction blocks are in the vicinity of the security gateway module.

Per @gmenarvino you guys with TRXs have the correct HCU and ABS Module. So for you, all you should need to change is the ACC Switch:
ACC Button - 68309592AD SWITCH. Speed Control. Right. = $57.05

I haven't done this yet, should be sometime this week, so I will defer to @gmenarvino and @Jimmy07 for the correct changes in AlphaOBD, but I believe you need to change the following:

Cruise Control Present: No
Type of adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) system present: ACC with stop and go
ACC Adaptive Cruise Control: Not enabled
ACC/DASM Adaptive Cruise Control/Driver Assistance Module: Enabled

I think that is right but I defer to the experts and the guys that have completed this so far. @Stepanchina @tdb0021 @MayhemMOORE @vincentw56 are all guys that have done it and @Jimmy07 is the SME with Alpha...but I would defer to all those guys before you go with what I say...

Jimmy07 Are these the correct changes I need to make on to my BCM? I hooked up alpha OBD and got ISO not found but read not needed for Ram?

Thanks

Switch is enabled now to test it on the highway.
Changes I made were
Cruise Control Present: No
Type of adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) system present: ACC with stop and go
the other options weren't there and my regular cruise still works

This is overwhelming...

Kudos to all of you guys going through all the trouble to get ACC. I cannot believe the amount of work and money you guys are putting in.

I've read through SO MANY pages of this blog, can't really find the answer to my problem (yet) so figure I'd ask...

I am just about to buy a 2021 Ram. It unfortunately lacks ACC (which I love it in my current vehicle). But, it already comes with:

* Level 1 Safety Group
- Pedestrian Emergency Breaking
- Advanced Break Assist
- Full Speed Forward Collision Warning Plus
- Lane Keep Assist - IT DOES come with the hard LKA button on the center console

This is the window sticker: https://www.jeep.com/hostd/windowsticker/getWindowStickerPdf.do?vin=1C6SRFBT3MN731059

Since it appears it already comes with all the required sensors, is THE ONLY thing I need the ACC module for the steering wheel and to activate it via alfaobd?

I truly appreciate any help!

Thanks!

Joe

Based on Your window sticker, You would need for ACC:
68436462AJ1MODULE. Anti-Lock Brake System.
68415320AA1HYDRAULIC CONTROL UNIT. Anti-Lock Brake System.
68309592AD 1SWITCH. Speed Control. Right.
I am almost sure, and it was confirmed in this thread, that You truck is equipped with the different parts, only 2021TRX owners are lucky guys, who has correct ABS installed from the factory. You can confirm it easily by calling any Mopar supplier or asking Your dealer. Give them Your VIN and You will know part numbers on Your truck.

I think its under Veh Config 7 and then down in P/T Chassis Net

Did you upload your log to Google Drive? It's much easier to search in there...

I just use the search function in AlfaODB. I just typed in ACC and you get all the configs that have that in the name.
