I just took delivery of my 2019 Limited with eTorque yesterday; and drove it about 60 miles until the battery and check engine lights came on. Nursed it to the dealer and dropped it off. They have no idea. They have opened a case with Chrysler apparently but, in the mean time, I'm driving my old truck.

Not feeling very confident in being on the leading edge but hopeful they'll get it figured out. That being said - overall fit and finish on the truck appear to be very nice.

I have a few UI issues with the infotainment system.

Why have a separate Mute and Power Off switch? I can't imagine a situation in which I'd want to turn off the big 12"ish display - since it controls all the other aspects of the truck. The power button should just mute the audio. The mute button does the job, but when you turn the truck on/off it forgets it was muted. I'm sure that's just personal preference.

Feeling a little like a kid that had his candy taken away though :)
Did they fix you issue yet? I'm having the same issue

Yep definitely keep us posted on what your service department says TravelerUT, if you have time.

After 7 days at the dealer with the following issues;

Clunk, chipped handle, trim not installed correctly, rear passenger door misaligned, right headlight/turn intermittently not working, and stuttering/dying on startup

Exactly ZERO of them were fixed. To top it off I now have a really annoying loud wind issue on the drivers side at highway speeds. I checked the seal/trim that runs along the top on each side and they're both installed differently and loose. Did I mention the dealer used PAINT to mark the day my truck hit the service dpt. I had to have one of the guys razor it off.

I'm about to be moving 1800 miles across the country and they've done nothing to a truck I bought at the beginning of the month.

Seems like Ram doesn't really care at all. ( @RamCares )

I'll be submitting a lemon claim this week. A friend of mine suggested I drive it over to a GMC dealer and tell them I want to trade for a new 1500 Denali - I'm seriously considering it.

Don't do that. You'll lose your @ss. I am currently filing a lemon law claim on mine as well. It has been out of service for 27 days due to numerous repair attempts. Don't waste your time with the arbitration process. Your state law will outline what qualifies you for a claim. Unfortunately, it takes a while to build a case.

Wow - sorry to hear this, and I can't blame you for thinking that way. It's one thing to have issues at delivery, and it's completely another to have inept service.

Will I ever stop finding issues?

Guessing I'll need a new dash for this one to be fixed properly. Bring on the broken clips.

Hello all, here is an update on my water issues. The dealer finally fixed my issue of water leaking in the back of the cab. They removed the back window and reinstalled with a new seal. They said it appeared that the original seal was damaged when installed at the factory. They also put silicone around the sunroof drain tubes on both sides where they come out of the back of the cab. This has fixed my water leak issue in the back cab but know I have another leak on the front drivers side! After it rained last night my driver side front carpet was wet. So I did some troubleshooting again on my own and found the leak. You won’t believe this one. I Noticed after spraying water on the front windshield on the lower driver side corner, I opened the door and water appeared to be coming in from underneath the seal at the bottom of the door and running in the cab under the carpet. Upon further inspection, I pulled the door seal up off the metal flange it attaches to and water was actually leaking out of the seam where the cab was spot welded together! Unbelievable! I have attached some pics so hopefully you can get an idea of what I am describing. I went straight back to the dealer to show them my findings of this new leak that has appeared. I also opened a case with Ram customer service to start talks about my buy back options. I am done dealing with these water issues and am looking at my options to replace the truck. I hope this helps those of you that are having the same issues. Will update you again when I have more info.
Dan I'm having same exact issue. Please let me know how you make out with it. I too notified Ram about water issues. Thanks

Hi Iceorphen,
We're very sorry that you have not had your concerns resolved yet. We are unable to assist with a lemon law claim, being this it falls under the legal realm. If you are still working with your dealer, please send us a private message so we can get a case stated for you so a Case Specialist can work with your dealer to find a potential solution.
Thank you,

Will do, still working with the dealer trying to figure out the front driver side water leak. Will let you know when they find the fix. I am taking it to a different dealer since the one I have been taking it to can not figure it out after 5 visits. Very frustrating, they did not even really try and just kept guessing at it. I also have a lemon law case with a hearing scheduled for 10/9.

Good Luck. Manager at dealer told me to go lemon law route if leak can not be fixed

So I thought that I was safe of the leak because I haven’t had any water in my cab. It’s been unusually rainy here in Dallas. I saw this photo above and decided what the heck go look. Well mine was identical to the photo above. I don’t know how I was so lucky to not get water inside. I would had really not accepted that. But my truck is dry as can be. I wash my truck a lot also using pressure washer and foam cannon. So I just put the grommet in place at almost 10pm as my wife is looking at me like I’m nutS.

She says I need to stay off this forum. Well thanks to this forum I adverted potential water damage issues. I hate water damage.

Thanks guys for the pics and help saved me I just should had checked sooner.

Well I've turned up with two issues on a 9/18 build:
1. Water leak. Rained hard earlier and I was just crawling over the back seat and the passenger side carpet at the rear is wet. Strongly betting it's the rear window as others have had. Obviously the factory has not remedied their installation because this is a relatively late build.
2. Got a "service trailer brake" message. Since I haven't even hooked up a trailer yet I looked at the brake controller and noticed the "-" button was stuck in. Got a plastic tool and got it to pop out again, but it sticks every time you push it so I guess I need a new one.

Anybody dealing with "stutter stops"? Just started yesterday, with 750mi. on the truck. It has been raining and I do have the eTorque engine which pull power from the friction on the brakes. It feels like the rotors are warped when stopping. The truck is literally stuttering when rolling slowly with pressure on the brakes.

No, not that but it is taking some getting used to braking on this due to eTorque and transmission. I've decided it's not tranny downshifting but more like the torque converter pulsing. Both torque idiosyncrasies if you will!

Update: just drove to airport in torrential downpour expecting soaked carpet but it was bone dry! Now I'm not sure I have a leak. I did reseal/check the third brake assembly yesterday since I had popped that off to upgrade the bulbs. Confident that was not it.
Also cycled the rear window to ensure it was closed.
Mystery I'm keeping a close eye on.

I was thinking the same thing...really got me scratching my head when it was doing it in reverse with no brake pressure. I was thinking the electric E-brake may be sticking a bit as well. All these new functions will keep us busy figuring out what is normal and what is not.

Hire a lemon law lawyer, it will go quicker and smoother

I was classifying the ambient lighting on the glove box gap, the rattle on the back window from bass, and also the gauge cluster lighting in this category

Any fix for the back window rattle with the bass? I'm having the same issue...
