Fair enough! I have a lot of LED lighting (in the house and elsewhere), and it can't be assumed that they run cool. The transformers generate quite a bit of heat. Not halogen levels, of course.

Yes but we are talking little truck bulb they put out very little heat. I know guys up here that have the projector housing on their 2013-2018 trucks and have the LED DRL/turn signal and they are complaining because their lights won't melt the snow/ice off their lights whereas mine are just the halogens and my lights stay clear.

Hello did that shark fin above your lights come stock or you added that on? Looks great can u send me a side view of your truck showing that? Looks real neat my 19 ram doesn't have it

It came with the truck. Assuming it's trim dependent? I thought they all had them.

When I click on both of these links, amazon asks me for which vehicle. When I choose 2019 Ram 1500 it tells me neither of these bulbs work for our trucks. Did you have any issues at all or did you have to do anything more than just plug and play?

Glad I did the cargo bulb upgrades. The stock lights have such a dull/yellowish look to me.

I don't see why not. Seems it's CANBUS compatible, so assuming they should work fine.

LED tails are sealed units. Can't change bulbs.

Thanks for the heads up. I wasn't aware of this. Assumed that the reverse lights were replaceable.

Tails are sealed LED but reverse light you can replace. They are 7440/W21W

Thanks for correcting me, that's surprising! I'm not able to check my Ram now but on my F150 it was a fully sealed unit, including reverse bulbs. Are you sure that's not on the halogen tails?

I don't have mine yet but I looked it up in the manual and the 7440/W21W are replaceable. They don't say LED and serviced by dealership only.
