Im just making sure I put the light back in correctly. There only seemed like there was one way to put it back in. Wanted to see if everyone elses looks like it.

Got it. I just replaced the LEDs on mine about an hour ago. Looks like yours, that’s why I wasn’t sure what I was supposed to see

I took a couple of close ups. I believe it looks just like yours, correct?

JDM Astar LED puts out 1000 lumens each. I also used red LED for the Center brake light (Lasfit bulb)

Neurobit, I just replaced my lights. Looking at your pics, your housing looks to stick alittle out more at the top vs. my. Maybe the gasket were different, will have to wait and see if I have any leaks.

Could be. Someone else mentioned that my seal seemed thicker and wider than theirs. I did tighten it enough, but not too much torque since I did not want the acrylic to crack. It sits as it did before I took it off.

Buy it, ship it to me and I'll repackage and ship to you. Did that with my buddy who lives in Cali and wanted an exhaust for his Harley. Company wouldn't ship to CA due to the strict emissions regulations. If there is a will, there is a way.

Makes me want to disassemble my factory bed lights and see if I can make them brighter.

You can try these. Will work for both brake light and cargo. I did mine week before last and it looks great. No codes generated, and about 8 bucks for a pkg of four.

On edit 09/12/19 - Can no longer recommend these. One started flickering after about 7 months. You get what you pay for. Go with Diode Dynamics of Vleds. Either will be magnitudes better than these cheap Chinese bulbs.

I love them! Cargo lights are bright. Red light is perfect. No flash or codes. Just plug and play.

Just installed these...thanks for the link. Will watch for codes, but I see none reported so far.

My one question: Those cargo LEDs sit pretty close to the lens. Any worries about heat damage from the LEDs at the tip of the bulbs?

I don't thinks so. All things being equal, they should be cooler than comparable incandescent bulbs.

As @Neurobit said you could run those LED's for hours and the heat they produce is minimal. You could touch them and they would be pretty well cool.

Fair enough! I have a lot of LED lighting (in the house and elsewhere), and it can't be assumed that they run cool. The transformers generate quite a bit of heat. Not halogen levels, of course.
