Anyone getting a 2025 with the I6 Hurricane?

Nah, the twin cam was the IROC R/T. This was just the T1 IROC with factory Shelby decals. 2.5l with Mitsubishi turbo. But I had swapped it to the T2 garret turbo and intercooler set up with manual boost controller

You'd need to send it out to a specialized shop for that assuming you could find one. I've only seen a few and IDK if they work with the general public
Its been around for a while though but like I said, I dont its going to be why an engine fails
Coatings instead of liners have become standard practice. The upside is that with appropriate oil change intervals the blocks are increasingly durable and there is very little friction. The downside is that if something does happen in terms of internal damage, you are talking about sleeving the engine - which has downsides - or turning the block into a coffee table or large paperweight.

Never said 99%problem free, but if you read enough you will find a pattern of higher than normal consistent issues that would cause some hesitation from jumping on the current model.

No you want because you're looking at a forum specific to 5th gen ram where people will congregating complaining about the truck.
There's millions of these trucks on the road, the number of complaints here is not at all representative of the of the whole or even a significant percentage.
Put another way, the people with no issues are quietly enjoying their trucks. Looking at this forum as an accurate representation of the problems with this truck is a poor due diligence at best

You're the one making the comment that based upon this forums comments, these trucks are problematic making a buyer hesitant to buy a Ram.
Some of these Ram comments are like negative reviews on Amazon
Don't buy these size 36 pants, they don't fit my 36" waist at all.......

I thought there would have been pictures posted of the final '24 Hemi coming off the line. Probably something Ram is trying to hide, given that sales will probably take a big hit because of no V8. Dealers better stock up on Classic Hemis, as they may have a lot of people walking out of the...

I for one like the numbers I see from the new I6TT. I’m very interested in the future release of the RHO.
I’m just not sure I can give up that V8 sound. I checked the GT package to enjoy as much of that Rumble as possible. I would record it and play on a loop at night, to lull my self to sleep. Regrettably, I have had to restrain myself, after my wife said it would lead to divorce papers. I love my wife just a pinch more than my truck.

Any release of info on the 2025 trims except the Tungsten seems to be a top secret project for Stellantis. Several dealers here have been helpful in releasing prices and package options. No configurator on ramtrucks.com so far. I suspect they are giving their dealers a chance to wrap up the '24s before emphasizing the '25 models. Some folks have preordered, I'm going to wait awhile as my 2015 is still running fine but am anxious to hear more about the I6 in the 1500 as I will order at some point.

My wife's 2021 JGC-L lease will be up in 2025. She wants the Wagoneer. I may end up with that motor. Being a lease, not too concerned. However, I would never consider actually owning a vehicle with that motor in it for a few years.

Almost any manufacturer won't have the configurator until a little while after production starts. This is pretty standard across the industry.

You can get to the CostcoAuto configurator since they seem to have all the options. Someone posted this earlier and I am not sure which post it was on but you can see all the available options. You just need to select 2025 Ram 1500 and on the next screen select build vehicle.

I'm a little dubious of the costco configurator to be honest. It allows selecting Night Edition and ORG on the Limited, which has never been an acceptable combination in the past for 5th gen Limited models. That's a combination I really wanted but couldn't get on past model years.
That combo was available for MY 2024 only. Saw them on lots in person.
That said, apprehensive is still probably the correct approach to configuration early on.

I ordered a 2025 Limited with Night Edition through the dealer and it was confirmed through Ram. That is why I didn't go with the Tungsten, because I wanted Night Edition.
Interesting. That's not allowed on the ramtrucks.com configurator for 2024 models, so I made the assumption it wasn't available on '24's either. You say you've seen Limited's on lots with both the ORG and Night Edition options? I'm curious to know which wheels they came with. That's the main issue, since the Night Edition comes with 22" all-season tires, but the ORG comes with 20" A/T tires. That conflict is why it wasn't available.
I didn't say you can't get the Night Edition. I said you can't get the Night Edition with the Off Road Group.
