if you are talking about the white cable right next to it then yea.Just a stupid question...did you plug in the LVDS cable from the module to the screen?
The only change you need to make coming from an 8.4 with nav isif you are talking about the white cable right next to it then yea.
1.what settings should I use for the 12in in ALfaOBD if I have 8.4 w/NAV
The only change you need to make coming from an 8.4 with nav is
Cabin Net: ICS Integrated Center Stack- Not Enabled
Cabin Net: DCSD Display Screen Module should already be set to Enabled.
Doesn’t matter. Pick whatever one you want because AlfaOBD will automatically connect to the correct bcm that it detects. Its that in
1. 2019 PowerNet
2. DT 2019 PowerNet Var.1
3. DT 2019 PowerNet Var.2
4. DT 2019 PowerNet Var.3
5. DT 2019 PowerNet Var.4
or is there another one?
Is there any other small things i might have missed? like a hard Radio reset? or maybe it needs to be fully mounted before it turns on .Doesn’t matter. Pick whatever one you want because AlfaOBD will automatically connect to the correct bcm that it detects.
The Config in AlfaOBD is done, i just wanted to make sure everyone was recommending the same settings. LVDS cable is the factory cable and the OLD screen still works with it. so I don't think its a bad cable.Bypass does not matter. Do the config in AlfaOBD, disconnect the battery, wait 5 min and reconnect. It can take some time till the radio module gets all the info from the BCM. Maybe you have a bad LVDS Cable.
Actually it doesn’tSomething can't be right, does your plug looks like this after re pinning?

Disregard that connector, don’t use it. It doesn’t have the hazard wire. Use the 8-way connector that has 5 wires (I believe blue piece of tape around it). Repin the wires in that connector according to the linked post below. Disregard the wire colors listed, and only focus on position numbers.Do I need to repin more than just the hazards?
Yes. Put red in 1, orange in 2, tan (unpinned wire) in 3, other tan(?) (the one in 5) in 6, and black in 8.This is the other connector
