In AlfaOBD, instead of selecting body computer to connect to, select radio navigator module 2017. Connect to it, and select the faults and status log tab. Select read system ID, and that will reveal the radio module part number.
Trust me, you’ll choose the 8.4 UAX selection pictured.

Strike that above. If you’re using the kaodtech style bypass, you won’t be able to connect to the radio module. You have to pull the radio and get the part number off the Module, and you need the serial number off the module anyway.

Yes, or just type the part number directly in their search box once you have it

I actually contacted the guy who sold it to me and he put the number on top duhhhh hahaha thank you though anyway and thank you so much for your help with everything just need to figure out the AC controls and we are all set.

Any idea for the AC? This is the screen I’m getting and I go in and check vehconfig3-HVAC configuration and change it to dual zone and get no success

It’ll eventually start working. It takes time and drive cycles for the radio module to pull all the BCM settings.

Thanks man working all good! I’d have to say the install it self was the easiest part the whole changing the settings was the hardest since I’ve never done anything like that but this forum and you guys are what gave me the confidence to do it myself. A couple hours and a hundred questions later we are all good. If anyone is thinking of doing this upgrade don’t be afraid and good luck finding the parts! Thank you again.
