What trim level is your truck? For example, a tradesman can not be optioned with automatic climate controls, therefore the sales code for ATC will not be a selectable option to add when trying to add it with their scan tool. There’s no way to know for sure what sales codes can be added until the dealer’s scan tool is hooked up to your truck.

You can try. I’m not sure if the 12” radio is an option on the big horn. You gotta deal with scheduling an appointment, and paying for them to try whether it works or not, which is probably an hour of labor. You’re better off just getting AlfaOBD right off the bat.
You're going to pay the dealer anyway. Why wouldn't you just go ahead and get AlfaOBD? It will only take minutes for you to program it and you have the software to do any future projects you want with it. It's a win-win imo.

Than i think your Bypass is bad. Which one did you use?
IDK, i'm trying to think what can cause a comm time out. If you can get there without the bypass, that means that the bypass is used to get you behind this point.Why do you think it’s the bypass? I used the kaodtech one

Did you change all the numbers to match my screenshot in post 498 (except for com port). Can we get a pic of that bypass plugged into the two junction blocks.@Jimmy07, I have the OBDLink MX connected same exact message comes up....any ideas?
