I had a single row led bar in my garage, so I installed it. Put out decent light, but I found the light was only 1/2 in the opening and I lost a bunch of light. Bought a double row, and get way better light through the opening and down the road.
I bought a RC 30" single row for my Limited. So you are saying that it will not be fully centered/in the middle (horizontal and vertical) of the lower grill?

It will most likely sit like the one above. The Limited and some other trims have an opening that is slightly higher than the Rebel.

i do have a 30" that's curved in the shop lol but it's a dual row
I just recently installed a 30” rough country dual row curved with their version 3 brackets on a 2020 Bighorn with the air dam brackets. It fits just fine. Only issue I ran into was the light didn’t sit center vertically in the slot. It’s a little low.

Guessing the bighorns sit higher than the rebels too.

It looks like there’s enough “meat” on the bracket where the light bars mount to where we could drill another hole slightly above the oval shaped hole in your brackets in order to get get the exact placement desired, correct? At least that’s what it looks like when studying all the photos in this thread.

Also for those of you who decided to have it switch operated instead of wired into the high beams (I’d like to go separate switch also - always have, always will) do you have any photos of your interior switch & any recommendations? Hoping to make it as clean looking as possible. Thanks!
Here’s mine set up on switches. Switch bank set up in the sunglasses holder location with rocker switches.

On my Bighorn, it was only like 1/2 through the slot. Reading on here, some are saying different trims sit slightly higher then others, but I was not happy with a single on mine.

Yes there is room to add a hole higher if you wanted the bar to sit higher.

Measured my 30” dual row curved. She’s 32.5” wide mound base to mount base. Not sure if she will squeeze. How much wiggle is in the brackets? Anyone have a 30” straight bar to measure?

I believe there are a few people with bars that wide on here so you should be ok, I read back a few pages on this thread and found a couple. My diode dynamics bar is 31.5 and my brackets are sitting closer in than the newly designed ones sit.

My 30” curved dual row from rough country is 32.2” total length and fit fine with extra wiggle room to go bigger. Yours should fit.

Perfect; I was going to order another single row Rigid; but I may just toss this dual row in there as it's already paid for. Just need to trim the ends of the brackets to fit; and i'll repaint the ends and be good.

So here’s something extra that I’ve been working on for the past months instead of installing my brackets from shifts and grins. Complete from idea to measurements to fabricating/milling/bending my own materials to get this to work. Parts are off to powder coating right now and then I’ll do final install soon. Really excited this turned out well. Just sharing my idea but maybe an idea for @Shifts And Grins Fab if you think you could sell enough of them.

Very nice!!! Great work. We are working on some stuff to mount more lights. I like what you did.

You’re gonna tease us with all of those photos, none of which shows the different lights activated? Heresy! 😆

I want to see this setup working with a 30" lower light bar, highbeams and fog lights on.

Sorry but nothing is hooked up yet. Was working on brackets first just to see if things would work out first. Since it’s at powder coat I’m gonna start running wires and solid state relays to run everything thing on. Project is moving a little slow since 2 kids in school with activities and I work nights so I only get a maybe a day a week to work on stuff. I’ll post a link here to another thread I’ll start when I get things going so I don’t take this one over.

I have a lower 30” with shifts and grins brackets, the 2 in the grille are 28” bars and I have the ditch light brackets yet to install from shifts and grins to add a set of diode dynamics ss3 in driving pattern. It’ll be bright for sure.

Ah, I’m just bustin’ your chops a little bit man - I could tell from the photos it probably wasn’t quite finished yet. Going to look pretty sweet when you get it wrapped up.

That will be very bright! Very nice work
