2” Readylift level
285/60/20 Toyo Open Country ATIII tires
20x9 +1 Fuel Rebel wheels

Originally I had the wheels in 20x10 with a -18 offset. I loved the look, but they rubbed quite a bit and I didn’t want to do any cutting. Im still more than happy with the current setup though. View attachment 104350

Hey All

for some feedback on running 35s with the 3.21 rear. My mechanic raised concerns that it could “significantly impact” off the line and hi-way performance.

Currently running stock 285/45r22s on a 2021 Limited Black Night Edition with 5.7 Hemi w/Air Ride. Planning on 2” Revel/Daystar Leveling kit with new UCA’s.

I get I’ll be sacrificing some of the off the line performance but concerned the 3.21 might not be able to turn the 35s
i was running 35 with a orp, 3 inch lift, and still average 17 mpg, but yes the bigger gears, truck drove great with the michellin tires

Just got back from having 285/65/20’s BFG KO2’s mounted on stock Bighorn night edition wheels. Look every part of being perfect with a touch of badass! Guy behind the counter winced and said I don’t think those will fit, to which I responded:

Promise pics in the AM when it’s light out

Running Nitto Ridge Grappler 295/65r20 on 20x9 Fuel Vapor with 2" Rough Country leveling strut. It's more of 2.5 inch level once it settles. Love them so far. Drove a 2020 Trail Boss for a week and the 35" Nitto Ridge drives smoother and quieter
Any rubbing on this?

I have zero issues, pulls hard, no power or acceleration issues. The Ridge Grapplers actual size is under 35".
I went with the 35” Toyo OC AT3s. Truck looks and drives great! Thanks for the advice!

What fog lights are these. how do you like the hellwig?
Stock fogs with yellow Lamin-X film on it. Was pretty easy to do with a beer and the wife's hair dryer. I took the entire light assembly out to make it easier to apply. While I have had it like this almost a year, I want a brighter fog so I may end up replacing with a whole LED assembly in yellow.

Love the Hellwig! It's been a huge improvement and I could notice when taking highway exits where the truck used to want to roll/slide to the outside of the turn. Now it handles almost as nice as the wife's Mercedes. I have heard that replacing the stock sway bar links only makes it better and stronger. The stock links are very tiny and thin for what they tout the truck can do. Core 4x4 and BWoody makes links, in different colors as well. They even have grease zerts in them as well. That might be a winter upgrade.

Nitto Terra Grappler G2, 275/65/20 with American Outlaw Wheels. 20x9 with a -5 offset. 34.09" Inflated diameter. No lift and no off-road package and it doesnt rub anywhere. Ride quality is still excellent and im not noticing much road noise. Truck1.jpg Truck2.jpg Truck3.jpg

Any reason why I can't find 3peak snowflake rating on a 285/65R20? Staying away from big k02 just because of price alone. I'm looking at toyo at3

Feel a little embarrassed to ask but I'm confused in 35x10 tires size. 35" tire comes from width and height, but im confused with the second number. Is the second number rim size or depth?

My guess is rim width, as in a 20x10 rim. I’ve only seen tire widths in with 35x11.5x20 or 35x12.5x20

So if that’s the case, I can’t do 20x9 rim… on 35? I have some 20x9fuel contra that I wanted to get to 35”.

Both toyo op at3 tire and fuel rim specs show that I’m ok with 35x11.5 but I’m just concerned that I’m right at the lower end of the borderline.

No, actually the opposite, you can use those 20x9. The 11.5 or 12.5 in the 35x sizes I stated above are tire widths. If you check the tire manufacturers website, under the specs for the tire, it should list the rim width range. Normally tires in this range can fit rims with widths between 8-10".

Sometimes if you are lucky, the specs will tell you what the width of the tire will be when mounted on a specific width rim. For the size tire I got in the KO2's, it says the tire will measure 11.5" on an 8.5" rim width.
