Got my 2020 1500 back with its new shoes. Installed a 2” Readylift level kit with 35x11.50/20 Toyo Open Country AT3 tires. Ride is smooth and looks so much better than stick with the crappy Nexen tires. Before, after, and wheel well.

Do you have any more pictures? Curious to see how it looks from the side
Here you go. At times i am super pleased with the 33's and at times i feel i should had waited to level the truck and get the 34's. At the time i also had a clearance issue with my cartport. I still can't fit with 35's but now i could do 34's
Also mk2019orp has 34's with no rubbing. But it does't seem he has mud guards install. I am pretty certain i would had rub on 34's with the mup guards on stock height even with the off road package which is what i have. These pictures are before i level the truck. I Just install the leveling strut last night so i don't yet have a side picture

Any rubbing? I’m looking at going with the Carli Commuter set at 2” in the front with 285/65/R20’s. Sharp looking truck 👍🏼

You are correct sir, no mud guards installed. Just the stock plastic protector. I can’t say for sure, but I’d be close with full mudguards.

Forgot to give myself a status update. So I did ended up finding and pulling the trigger on 34.1" falken wildpeak at3 275/65/R20 last weekend. Didn't want to go wider, just taller. And it should give me close to an extra inch on my rebel. Then later that day, did some more testing with the fuel rims with the hubs it came with.

In hoping that next week is when I can finally put it all together.

Looks great man, thanks. If I didn’t have the 3.21, I’d probably go 34 or 33.5. I’m a little concerned with going larger than 33. I do think the 33 fits nicely though.

Side note, if you add rear wheel well liners, I bet it would look even more full. I have them with my 32’s and it helps a bit when looking from the side.

I have them. But in the pictures it seems like i don't. These are pictures after i level it on the weekend. The truck didn't have much rake to begin with but i did the adjustable struts. Haven't remeassure but i should have 1/2 of rake still. My frinds say the can't tell the difference before and after. 20211220_093903.jpg 20211220_093849.jpg

I think you could do it but yea do your research, I ran 33x12.5/20 on my 4th gen with the 3.21 no problem. I think when I was looking into my tires the weight of those is similar to like a 275/65/20 (34")
I am assuming the weight of the tire would be the issue here. - but correct me if I am wrong

Stock laramie night edition
285/55R22 Toyo AT3 (34.3" tire)
No level yet, waiting on Bilsteins.
It rubs near full lock, but not an issue for regular driving, plus I am going to bend plastic asap.
Honestly I thought it would be tighter, but they fit pretty good. Pleasantly surprised.

From what I understand, it’s a mix of weight and diameter. There’s a handy gear ratio calculator on tiresize.com that I’ve been playing around with. The larger diameter reduces your effective gear ratio which can lead to gear hunting on the highway and and slower times off the line (if that matters to you). To me, it does a little. Your truck looks great, by the way. I have the OEM rear wheel well liners and it does a better job hiding everything in the wheel well - seems to cover more area.

Thanks man. Yea, I heard the Rough Country speedo calibrator helps smooth out the shift points though. It’s like $250 but I think I would get it if/when I go up in size. I still have about another year left on these OEMs.

Did you have to do any trimming or is there any rubbing? I’m wanting to go with 35x12.5/20 tires with a 3 1/2” Rough Country lift and 20x9 +2 offset rims on my 2022 Laramie but would like to hear if anyone has tried it already.
