2025 Ram 1500 Order Updates

Let's all jump on the @AnthonyRI bandwagon!!! I wish I would have just ordered from him to begin with. I'd defintealy have more information than I currently do. And from what I've seen, he's more responsive than my dealer. I only get updates when I ask, even though my salesman assures me he is checking everyday. Either he is full of it or I'm magically asking for updates on the same days that the system updates.

Speaking of updates: Truck shipped on Nov 22 by rail. Dealership is showing an estimated delivery date of 8 Dec while Ram tracker just updated this morning to show estimated delivery on 20 Dec. I'd be willing to bet that if I drove over to the rail yard and looked, my truck is already there or possibly sitting at the dealerships intake yard.

Being nice to me won't make the trucks get here faster.... but man imagine if it could!

What we see on tracking that is MOST valuable is the ETA for the truck to arrive at it's last rail stop. That's the last KNOWABLE item. Beyond that, it's a range. The tricks don't go FIFO from last rail to the dealership necessarily, and there becomes a lot more variables since it's also a lot of IC's that truck them over. So that last 100 miles or so can be 2 days or 12, and there really isn't anything predictive within that.

I'm really only being nice to you in case my current dealership doesn't get me the deal I want. In which case, I'll need you to place my order again for me and start the wait all over.

Also, for everyone else that did order from @AnthonyRI , you all better learn to read between the lines. Niceness doesn't get your truck here any faster! But having doughnuts delivered to him once a week may be a different story(he likes the strawberry filled ones).

I'm so close I can almost taste it! I ordered my truck from one dealer back in May and didn't even get a VON for nearly 6 months. Ordered it at another dealer, got the VON same day and VIN next day and within basically a month the truck is now shipped! Built status actually completed November 22nd so a pretty quick turn around for being shipped as it was in the KZP status on Monday. What a time to be alive!

It’s crazy. Your order was confirmed one day before mine, but yours is in production while mine hasn’t even been scheduled yet 😕. I guess some models are taking longer than others, or maybe it’s just my luck.

Not just your luck… unfortunately.
 
My Granger order from February still in "D"...my MD order in July in production now...got an email in Frame and Paint...but see delivery dates on the forum out to early February....

If it flies through inspection you could get it in 3 weeks best case.

Mine sat in JS for a month, so probably something was wrong. Still waiting for it to ship though. Been in KZLD for a while now.

Got an email from Ram saying it was "in shipping". I think the reps name was Sherlock...

My truck order was canceled on Monday. My dealer reached out to the factory and apparently truck was damaged in assembly line. They are generating new one. It’s back to D status.

They're starting to pump more and more out. If there's one within 250 miles of your dealer that gets there before you get yours, they might be able to do a swap.

I was considering this, but in PA you don't need a front license plate and I don't want one. Almost all the surrounding states require it... And nothing I wanted was in PA (don't want the off-road package).

The combination that I wanted is not near yet. But I’m checking to see if anything pops up. I don’t want front plate either. I think it’s required in VA but I told my dealer to not install it.

When i got mine a couple of weeks ago from Route 1 Ram by Trenton NJ they didn't put the front plate on until i signed the paperwork and asked me if i wanted it on for exactly this reason.
 
I’m beginning to think my build got messed up somehow, too. Seems like things are moving and yet mine isn’t.
To top it all off, the truck I borrow occasionally threw a code this morning and CEL came on. EGR issue (6.7 CTD). I really wish I had my own truck.
I’m happy for everyone else seeing movement and getting their trucks. Happy Thanksgiving!!!
 
Tracker finally updated with an estimated delivery date of 12/16. Still listed as in production on e-shop.

Seems that the estimated delivery date is usually conservative once the truck is shipped, so I might get the call between 3-7 days early.
