U[date and you might miss more. I lost my online searchYeah but I don't know if the newer version has some new functionality I may be missing out on.
Did they at least update the maps? I rely heavily on Apple Carplay for nav because the Ram nav is not up to date. Not for where I live at least.U[date and you might miss more. I lost my online search
Yes ... this is the problem I am having and sounds like many others too.S1908000022 REV. A RAM Equipment Technical Service Bulletin

This seems to be addressing our problem but neither SirusXM Guardian nor the Dealer can get the Assist button to function properly. Waiting for a fix while I am out $149 for the map update and $312 for SirusXM Guardian Convenience + Security Package. I should have saved the money and kept a system that worked perfectly...
They seam to be. Haven't ran into any problems yet.Did they at least update the maps? I rely heavily on Apple Carplay for nav because the Ram nav is not up to date. Not for where I live at least.
I have not received any OTA updates either.map updates are 1 year old or more and called new. HERE which does maps for most of the auto world is really a ripoff.
tell what OTA updates these trucks get. i am not aware of any.
It changed to metric. 55 mph is 88.5139 kph. It's reading metric, so change it back to us measurements and it should read correctlyThe longer this goes on the more problems with the system come up. 55 mph speed limit on State Hwy now shows 89 mph as the speed limit. It seems this system is just slowly cratering.... "Here" says see the dealer, Uconnect says see the dealer, XM Guardian says see the dealer, dealer says everything in the truck looks good. Known problems: online search function in NAV not active, Guardian SOS & Assist do not work and now erroneous information shows up on map and you cannot trust the address search to get you close enough to the actual location to actually find your destination.
Yes, we can use Google Auto or yes, we can use "Send N Go" to reach a good address, but an update is supposed to make the system better not worse!!!
Note: System worked flawlessly before installing this update. If I ever get back to where I was I will never do another update!!! I'm not happy :-(
Yes, we discovered that today that I had changed the readout to kph,It changed to metric. 55 mph is 88.5139 kph. It's reading metric, so change it back to us measurements and it should read correctly
The dealer called Friday afternoon and I have an appointment on Monday for a possible fix....I will update Monday PM.
Good luck ... maybe you'll be the break through case for all of us. Cheers. The dealer called Friday afternoon and I have an appointment on Monday for a possible fix....I will update Monday PM.
Day one, fix one, no change.... but they have not give up. Trying to come up with another fix.Good luck ... maybe you'll be the break through case for all of us. Cheers.

If your cellphone was active via bluetooth in the truck, it was used to dial the number. You can turn off bluetooth on your phone and push the blue button again (if you connect just tell them you are testing the system). If it is working you will still dial and connect as it will use the truck's own telematics connection.Just my experience to add to the discussion I installed the map update about a month ago. I did not require a system update, just the map.
Anyway, I never really checked to see if I was having the issues others have reported. Yesterday, I pushed the blue button on the roof, beside the SOS button for the first time. It brought up the Sirius Guardian screen. I'd never used this screen so I pushed the third choice--something like service and support and it dialed Uconnect. I tried to hang up / cancel but couldn't figure out how to do so. The phone hangup button on the wheel didn't work. Anyway, a guy answered and I apologized and told him it was an accidental dial. I guess he terminated the call because I was unable to do it myself.
Anyway, all this is to say I guess I've not had the issues (unless the inability to hang up is one) because I did not have to do the system update with the map update?
I'll give it a shot next time I'm in the truck. It's not our daily driver, but I'll report back when I do it. But does anyone know how I hang up on them? The blue button again? If your cellphone was active via bluetooth in the truck, it was used to dial the number. In my case - i.e. a broken system - I can call when my phone is connected by pushing the blue button. But I cannot make the call if my phone is not connected to the truck. Also the red SOS / 911 button will not work for me in any manner. But since you said you only had to update the map and not the software, you may be ok. I had to update both software and map and then all the trouble started ... and continues so far without a fix.
