2021 Limited w Etorque (3k miles) - Power Shutdown while on the highway

I agree with SpeedyV sounds like a Ford/Chevy guy fishing.

You’d have to buy a Ford for that (or maybe Subaru). I don’t have anything against the little blowers, though!
:D
I do everything on it myself but only popped the hood 2-3 times... It's a new truck, nothing exciting there haha

Your alternator can fail too. Come on now.
Not like this!
The problem with this system is that a simple task of charging the 12v battery and maintaining the 12v electrical system became very complicated with a few sensors, regulators and DC-DC convertors.
The generator itself is pretty solid(And simple) Nothing really can go wrong with it..
The inverter that sits in the Power-Pack( @securityguy , Happy? ;) :D ) is so sensitive that a simple jump-start kills it, it tops the voltage that goes into it and blows it.
I love the eTorque, It's great... I have nothing bad to say about it. Never gave me any grief.

Oh, Except that one time the Power-Pack died and the truck was at the shop for a month.

Hate to say it, but I wish I had my 5.0L F150 back right now given the experience I've had with my RAM. I'm sure once it's fixed I'll be very happy. Years ago we had a Jeep Grand Cherokee with the 5.7L Hemi. Ironically it had several issues when we first bought it and had to leave it at the dealer several weeks for it to be fixed. After that it was one of the best vehicles I ever owned.

Good luck to you. Here’s hoping you’ll get past this and be able to laugh about it down the road!

Mine doesn't say that.... but I know exactly what this system is doing..

OPs ET stopped generating power or the DC-DC inverter in the PP died(Same thing that happened to me). Anyway... He probably needs a new PP.
Sucks for him.. It happened to me at 35K miles.
The build sheet not the window sticker...

Edit, added your vin

I don’t disagree, I was just making it simple. Maybe to simple of a statement......As if alternator would of failed if had that system instead. The same outcome would not change in that given situation.. damned if you do, damned if ya don’t. It sucks either way

Yep, You're right... You don't it to happen... I was stranded for 3 hours waiting on the tow truck and then it took us another hour and a half to disengage the damn eBrake... 🤦‍♂️

This is my first Truck / Hemi / eTorque. Just passed 1000 miles but Sounds like I need to get back on AAA with the 100 mile tow plan!!!!

No, you don't. It's not a common issue. And FCA will provide you with a tow truck if you get stuck...
