How are the Fabtech Shocks?

Im between getting the fabtech 6 or the procomp 6.
Fronts are stock and rear are Fabtech pretty much rides like stock! A little birdie told me I’m getting the dirt logic shocks and coilovers for chistmas!:giggle: So I’d say go with Fabtech because you can upgrade to dirt logics but to each their own

Hope its not a mission later with the height of the truck. i saw your other post the other day saying you were 5'7. I'm 5'9 and im still on the fence lol. i just feel 3.5 may be not a noticeable or big difference.

Yeah it’s bro a struggle! I’m getting the Amp steps installed so that should help haha! But my original plan was to go 3.5-4 but some how ended up with a 6inch lift, I regret nothing!!!

You're probably not getting a reply because this has been talked about I believe in this thread and others. Do some searching and I think you will get your answers. If you searched and still can't get an answer shoot me a message and I will try to point you in the right direction.

I’m looking at the same wheels. Was the -12 offset necessary to get them to fit or a personal preference?

Definitely just preference... -12 offset throws the wheel through a wider turning arc than stock which makes it a bit more of a challenge to clear.

I was the same. Originally planned on a 3.5-4" lift and ended up pulling the trigger on a fabtech 6" on black Friday sale from realtruck.com. On top of that I ordered 20x10 Fuel Sledge Wheels and a set of 35x12.50 Nitto Ridge Grapplers. I cannot wait to install everything. The hardest part is waiting. I'm in Iraq currently and won't be home until mid December so I have to wait to do everything and I don't know if I want to be installing everything in my non heated garage in the middle of December!

Must say you have excellent taste in rims and tires. Mine are 20x9 with 275/60s

Thanks! Can't wait to tear into this beast! I've got a bunch of LED lighting to install. Worked out a deal with MICTUNING and they sent me a bunch of free lighting to promote their stuff and do some reviews. I will post up some YouTube videos after I get the items installed. I also pulled the trigger on the Edge Pulsar so I could compensate for the larger tires.

I just put a 2 inch lift on mine and 35 tires...I'm curious to know if anyone could see a potential issue with the dealer not wanting to warranty this...
What offset wheel did you use? Any scrubbing at all?

Do you have any rubbing at all? I've just ordered 20x10 wheels with -20mm offset. Doing same lift , readylift 3.5 sst. I have 35x12.50x 20 wildpeak at3's in my garage and 295x60x20 wildpeak at3's being delivered tomorrow. I do not want any scrub at all.

Thanks for your service sir! Nice sounds like it’s gonna be a busy winter. Sometimes you just gotta go all out, you’ve earned it!(y)

This may come off as silly/pointless to most, but I’m looking at a 1.5” leveling kit by Auto Spring Kits. In my research they have pretty good reviews (at least for the 1.5” kit) within the Ford community and wanted to get your thoughts.

I really don’t want to do a 3.5+ lift for several reasons (garage, parking structures, etc) and I like the idea of still having a little rake when I’m not towing. I do tow pretty frequently and worry that a 2” or 2.5” level will make it squat. I realize we’re only talking about .5” here, but I was hoping to get some opinions. The kit’s listed for 06-18 trucks, which I’ve read are the same strut mounts.

1.5 will not be enough level, even with a 2" mime still sat higher in the back.

Now I got a 3.5 lift and my rear still sits 1inch higher approx.

Check out my post about the comparasions

Finally got rid of the 22 inch stock wheels that came on this 4x4 pickup! Did a Rough Country 2in. leveling kit with 20 inch Fuel Rippers with +20 offset wrapped in Nitto Ridge Grapplers 295/60/20
