Crazy how different all these trucks sit from the factory. With the 2" Ready Lift I was 3/4" lower in the front, Replaced it with a 2.5" spacer and now the front sits a 1/2" higher in the front. Is your truck 4wd or 2wd?

It’s a 2wd.

I haven't and haven't had any issues. Can see just fine and nobody has flashed their lights at me yet.

I want to bump this back to the top because I just had my 2" level done today. Headlights seemed high on the wall backing out of the garage this evening, but went driving around out of my way purposely looking for someone to flash me. Nobody did.

It sounds like a mixed report of around 50% of those that needed or wanted to adjust their headlights after just a level? Maybe I'll create a poll, if I can figure it out...

A poll would be kinda cool.

I've noticed mine are higher too. In my old Tundra I could just rotate them down (or up) from in the cab. I may have to learn the correct way to adjust the Rams'.

I just figured out how to create one: https://5thgenrams.com/community/threads/headlight-adjustment-after-leveling-poll.4793/

My last truck had a 1.5" level on it, and everyone's consensus was that doing so put the headlights right where they should be at. Meaning....that the headlights may have purposely been aimed down a hair lower than optimal position per a GM work instruction, because they knew that a handful of owners level, lift, and/or put oversize tires on. Just curious what others' experience has been thus far.

Funny you post this. I just went out for the first night drive, and got flashed 3 times. Came home and dropped them about an inch. Unfortunately I think it will be trial and error to get them perfect.

I would like to know the actual measurements in the diagram posted.

With my 3.5 lift. They adjusted them at the lift shop for me and they seem the same as when it was stock height. I don't get flashed by incoming traffic..also the ram leds kick ***. Good lighting

Im currently running 305/ 55/ R20 ridge grapplers on My LH and they Don't produce any road noise what-so-ever.
Which tire did you go with? (Basically LT or non-LT RG). Also have you noticed much hit on MPGs?
Wheel DiameterTread DepthInflated Dimensions PSI Weight(lbs)
LT305/55R20 F 125/122Q 16.4 33.23 12.44 80 63.85
305/55R20 116Q 13.5 33.23 12.44 44 51.57

*sorry about the poor copy paste!

Killer looking truck. Love that red in the sun. Looks great. Do you have any rubbing issues with the 20x10 with a -18 offset. Exactly what I just ordered but went with 22x10 -18 wheel
Thank you. When I bought them I hadn’t seen Vandals on a new Ram, so I was a bit nervous. I’m very happy with them and I’ve had a ton of compliments on the truck after installing them. I had a very minor rub with the wheel liner on the drivers front tire (in front of the tire) while backing up and turning. I just heated up the plastic wheel liner area a bit with a heat gun and pushed it back a little. Be sure to post a pic once you’re are installed.

**on the nitto website - Ridge Grappler 305/55R20 116Q *stock Number #217860

I havent noticed any significant changes in MPG as i keep the center gauge option on fuel economy too. The Biggest change i noticed right away is a drop in Truck's acceleration due to the extra weight and wider contact patch from the nitto tires w/ dropstar wheels vs the ram's stock 22s and tires.

*Ram's Stock eagle touring Tire 285/45/R22 + 22" wheel = 77lbs x 4 = 308 lbs (11.2" wide Tire)
*30555R20 Nittos + 20" DropStars MB645 wheel = 91lbs x4 =364 lbs (12.44" wide Tire)

Dumb question, but what do you all (those that see real winters) do to protect your investment after replacing your factory wheels with those nice shiny aftermarket wheels?

I put my factory wheels back on for winter. I use them for my winter wheel setup.

Run factory wheels with 275/65/r 20 tires for winter.

I keep the new shiny wheels on. Just protect them with a good sealant, like any wheel for that matter. My tires are all-terrain so no reason to go to a snow tire.

I like hearing that. I just got quoted $25/tire to do ceramic coating. I can sell my 'take offs' and that will pay for ceramic coating for the next 6 winters :)
