Did you end up getting a reply from KN about airflow direction? I just installed this filter today and like you, no airflow direction marked anywhere. I tested it and it seems to be blowing fine, but want to make sure it's not installed the wrong way.

Damn this thing was so easy to install. Got mine yesterday, 110 degrees outside and didn't want to hang out in the truck too long. Literally took me all of 5-10 minutes total to install, and looks great.

Mine turned out to be a cable wasn't plugged in properly. Came like that from the factory, turned out to be a simple fix. If you can get access to the front bar to check the connection, I'd do that otherwise the dealer should be able to fix it pretty easily.
