I went with the level one on my 2019 Larimie. The only reason I considered the level two was because you needed it to get the advanced equipment package which included a lot of the safety features.

My truck has been trouble free. Only recalls for ground and brake pedal.

My truck is also not my the dally driver. I have 5000 miles on it and use it only once or twice a week. I have never had problems with it starting or stalling. Always starts up right away. I always use 87 octane gasoline.

Go to your dealership and have them show it to you. If it’s not installed, they will install one if you have it on your water sheet.

I have the same configuration as HeliPilot but on a Laramie. In pure highway driving I get about 22. Most of my daily driving is backroads and I get 16-17.

I have a Laramie, and there is the automatic Tellgate release. I thought this is standard on all Lamaries. I do not believe I ordered it as an option.

Does anyone know if the Laramie model has ambient lighting. I’ve never seen it in my vehicle and I’m wondering if it doesn’t work or if it just does it come with that piece of equipment.

I used Ziegler and got the 8 year 125K warranty with the $100 deductible right before the 10/1/2018 price increase. They also had a “paid in full” discount code that saved an additional $300 or so. These warrantees go up and up in price,but Ziegler was the cheapest at the time.

I did my first oil change with the dealer at 3,400. They did not use synthetic oil. When I was at the dealer yesterday for another issue, I asked if I can use synthetic going forward and they told me I could. And it’s not a problem to go for regular to synthetic as it used to be in the past.

I would think that if you could use the manual key to get in, there would be a way to start it without the fob. I would call Honda Care and ask that the starting procedure.
