    AMP Bedstep (on DT) Anyone?

Well great, I didn't even know AMP made a bed step. Are these the same as the rear Ram step , or are they a for the side of the bed?

    AMP Bedstep (on DT) Anyone?

They are GTG. Been on backorder for a while I think. Some complain they are a little noisy, I never thought that. Strong motors, solid gears, metal not plastic. Plug in play for electronics (buy a OBD2 splitter, amazon has em for a tenth what AMP wants). Do a search here, folks are creative...

    What color is this interior?

Thanks, the factory silver drove me nuts. It was a lot of work to convert it all properly. I posted a bunch of pics in the what did you do to your ram today thread. I think bout 20 or so pages back.

    What color is this interior?

I bought the "night edition" expecting black, total let down. It bothered me enough that I swapped the cloth interior with Catzkins leather. Then I stripped the interior and painted anything factory silver I could remove to gloss black. What I couldn't paint, I wrapped.

    AMP PowerSteps (76240-01A)

@c3k - Sorry to hear about the delivery issues, I must have gotten lucky, got mine in less than one week. It does sound like sellers are drop shipping directly from Amp Research. Maybe they are backed up due to Covid or something. @Thekidcasual - Pretty sure my instruction rated the steps at...

What did you do to your Ram today???

There are a few on page 780.

What did you do to your Ram today???

The horn cover/ airbag was not as difficult as expected. There is a tool port hole on either side of the steering wheel to release the cover. No screws, caps, or plugs. I disconnected the battery cable for safety and waited a bit. I didn't even try to dissasemble the part once removed, just...

What did you do to your Ram today???

It takes some work. Nothing aluminum colored just un-clips or pops off. Some of it can be dissembled via tabs or screws, other pieces are plastic welded, I decided to taped and prepped those areas instead of cutting or melting. Some of the parts are plastic molded, others are actual aluminum. I...

What did you do to your Ram today???

I finally completed the interior silver trim delete, including that oddly flat/ brushed aluminum glove box logo. Parts converted to satin and gloss black for contrast. Some parts wrapped, most have been painted, only the smallest parts left silver for a little offset. If the 21 BigHorn "Night...

Front Seat Cushion - Disassembly & Assembly Instructions

The process is not overly complicated, but it is a time consuming. I underestimated the time it would take me to properly install leather seats, and the tools needed to do the job correctly. Even if you pull your seat, you may not be able to correct the cover properly without steaming and...

    AMP PowerSteps (76240-01A)

They are showing (76240-01A as the plug and play option, UPC 815410014215) in stock at 4wheelparts.com, and at runningboardwarehouse.com. Both listed at $1499.00 with free shipping. From the look of the box when it arrived (zero info from seller), they are likely dropped shipped from the...

    AMP PowerSteps (76240-01A)

Ken, You may not need a liner or additional coating. The aluminum is extruded with lateral ribs. It also seems that AMP has added silicone grit to the powder coating. Pretty "grippy".

    AMP PowerSteps (76240-01A)

@c3k Here are the pics taken around 8:30pm (there is a shop light at the pole I can't turn off). First pic is fuzzy, iphone would not focus, this includes the lighting from the side mirrors. Second pic I wrapped the mirror light with a black towel to block it out so only the LED running board...

    AMP PowerSteps (76240-01A)

I will try and grab a pic of the LED lighting later tonight. Adding the switch later on shouldn't be an issue as long as you have access to the control module (mounted my switch in the gas pedal adjustment module box, control mudule behind tha battery). One of THESE OBD2 extensions will allow...

    New Off Road Pages

Was just having fun sir. Need verses want can be very subjective. The Ram 1500 is my first new truck in 20 years. Do any of us really need a heated steering wheel or seats, back up camera, power side steps, an automatic transmission, touch screen, throaty exhaust notes, a decent stereo...

    New Off Road Pages

Better to have and not need, than to need and not have. I check my oil level at every fill up. Use to also check the air filter, which would just be a total pain in the butt now. I also had a habit of checking my tire pressure, that tech is a nice change. You would have laughed at me pretty...

    AMP PowerSteps (76240-01A)

The 76240-01A fit my 21 Bighorn no issues, install is straight forward and easy. There is an included bracket that is made to replace a stock wiring harness bracket under the driver side area (lifts it up a bit to clear the step motor). Mounting the steps was quick, running wiring properly is...
