I have no experience with AL either, and would not put them on something as important as what holds my wheels to the truck. Pony up and spend some money, I would not cheap out on anything safety related. Some will probably chime in and say they are fine, I have seen aluminum threading strip out...
I have a friend that uses these exclusively, He has put these or a similar model on all of his pickups and SUV's. When mine are ready for replacement this is what I will go with. That price is really low, but they are relatively inexpensive anyway.
My opinion only. The rough country are superior to the OEM. That being said they are thicker and much more difficult to install, they are not near as flexible. If I ever do it again I will go OEM just for the ease of install.
I think he is trying to go with what did you do with your Ram not to it, hence the caps on with. . Going off jumps, running over bikes, you know fun things. Notice I said bikes, of course not with people on them.
You may have answered your own question. Repairs made outside of warranty are good for the company. I know it's a bit of a conspiracy theory, but non warranty repairs are cash hogs.
Just the typical we are so busy, we will try to squeeze you in. They have already put the wrong oil in it twice. For some reason they cannot figure out how to match my vin# to the service plan I bought (full synthetic), the second time I showed them the service plan before the oil change, I get...
There are definitely downsides to the valve. I will have to pull over and open the hood to get defrost, I guess I could crack the valve, but that just adds heat to the AC again. I will just pretend that my 50K truck is a 47 willy's and open the hood to adjust the heat like adjusting the...
I have mine set for an "evaluation" on Wednesday, I think I will cancel it and just put a manual valve on the engine out water line (Muzzy). My dealer said they would not offer a loaner on a TSB repair. With the price of rentals and they stated they would need the truck for a full week, if it...
I read the 3 reviews on Amazon on this hack. The first review complained about the poor quality hose clamps (easy fix). He stated that he had a 2021. Everything I have seen states that they fixed this problem on the 21's. I have an appointment at the dealer. They are kind of giving me the run...
I really like that Turtle Wax ceramic spray. It looks great, applies easy and I was still beading on the hood after a full year. The sides where the road salt and debris hit need an application about every 3 months. Great quality stuff
That feature is a little odd. The night edition doesn't come with a sport hood. I was doing the same thing on a night edition. I think by hitting the delete it actually adds the hood which puts you in a sport package. I have a night (bighorn). It has the standard hood. I may be wrong, it would...
I own a Ram, but my employer buys Ford's. I have probably driven six or seven different 150's and 250's, they ride rough but the AC gets cold fast, I mean cold enough to be uncomfortably even on a 90 plus day. My Ram will get cool after a while, no way I could ever get a chill in it. I love the...
I put foam around anywhere I could see light and weather stripping on the tailgate. Thought I had it covered. Went on a trip into the mountains, dusty roads. Mine looked just like yours. For every drop of water that gets in, ten times the amount of dust gets in. I am just going to suck it up and...
