I put the Cargomaxx 35% springs for the 4th Gen, to minimize lift. The springs are great, truck handles so much better loaded, and barely different unloaded, compared to stock. We pull a 3 horse trailer, normally with just 2 horses, sometimes 3. I would recommend these to anyone. Pic unloaded...
I guess it's hard to tell if it's the step pad, or the bumper, whatever the clips on the connector snap into is broke. I was hoping it was just the step pad.
So, my wife forgot to unplug her horse trailer from the 7 pin connector on her truck and pulled it out of the bumper. The connector itself seems fine and still works, but will not stay in the bumper. Does anyone know what part I need to replace. It's a real PITA to disconnect the trailer now
Has anyone upgraded their rear springs for towing. We have a 3 horse trailer, and the rear sag is a bit more than I like. I was thinking of the springs I see that are advertised as being 35% stiffer.
That would be nice, but I would just go for a Used Rubicon Unlimited with the standard V6, loaded. I do like the refresh they did for 2024, but the cost it more than I can afford. Intrest rates suck right now too. I bought my 1500 in 2020 and got 0% interest.
So the PO of my wifes truck, had the muffler removed and just welded a strait pipe in-between, and when they took the muffler off, they removed the hanger with the 2 orange rubber isolators. I got a used hanger off of Ebay, and the isolators from Tasca. Does anyone know the nut size for the...
I been getting this smell for a while, I check and never find and evidence of a leak. Well, the other day, I noticed some fluid in my garage, after I used my truck, I had moved my car in it's spot, so I thought it might be my car. My car doesn't have red coolant, it's not a lot, maybe 1/4 a cup...
Got my wife a 2019 Bighorn, has some nice options. LED lighting, Tow Package, 12 inch screen. While I was looking her over, I noticed something different on each end of the rear axle housing. Some kind of bracket, a U bolt going around the axle tube, with some brackets that are under it and...
Nice !!! I have been wanting to do this. I like this kit, was also looking a the Hamburger Kit, but the Pacbrake looks a little better, slightly cheaper
Thanks, have researched the air bags, don't want the hassle, and while the Sumo's or Timberens are ok, I really like the Upgraded spring idea. Don't have to worry about leaks with the air, or cut anything if I went with the 5000's. With bump stop type, I don't want to feel it bottom out.
