I swapped the bulbs in my 3rd brake light with no leaks afterward. It's just a foam seal, as skimpy as it is. It should seal up after replacing light bulbs.

I am using the 7 pin splitter with my LEDS connected to the reverse and ground pins with a connector. The truck doesn't seem to sense it at all. There's no indication that there is a trailer sensed.

You have to go into the Uconnect settings to turn off the braking portion.

I think they can do it without removing the rear seat. They would have to fold the rear seat backs forward. My Laramie seat backs can be folded forward by pulling a tiny string or lanyard in the middle of the seat back. Its hard to see and you have to reach your arm around and behind the seat...

I would imagine, for those out of warranty and the window only leaks without a crack, they could go to a glass shop to reseal the window. When I had my rear window replaced for the crack (no leaks) they subbed it out to a glass shop to work it.

Gotcha. Generally FCA will provide a full set of owners manuals to the original owner. That doesn't help you out.

I have the 12" navi unit and I have the user guides. Did you buy your truck new?

I have a 2019 and it came with quick reference guides. Call Ram and they will send the full size owner manuals.

I'm going to look into this kit. It looks pricey but worth it for me to save my time over the course of the life of the vehicle. Thanks for posting.
