I bought one of those turbo encabulators years ago. I bolted it up behind the slant 6 in my '65 Coronet, and WOW! What a sleeper. That thing was AWESOME!. Unfortunately, the girdle springs failed and there was excessive side fumbling as a result.
Too bad the second part of the video wasn't...
Yeah, but I guess you wouldn’t think the engine was seized at first, so it makes sense that they would check the battery and starter first.
Finding piston material in the intake?
There must have been some major carnage there!
In my opinion, you are wasting your money. I had a 2004 GMC with over 100K miles that had a head crack. It was a casting problem. When I replaced the heads, the inside of the engine looked brand new. There was no ring ridge at the top of the cylinders. The crosshatch on the cylinders looked...
I doubt that idling for a couple of hours would be a problem. I think the best thing you can do to help the longevity of an engine is to do the first oil and filter change early.

I had a leak in the same area. I posted a video of the leak. You can compare it to your leak to see if it’s coming from the same place:

I guess I'm going to be the contrarian. In my case, I run with a light load when taking trips with our Ram. I get over 400 miles to the 23 gal tank, and by that time I need to take a break. The other irritating thing is that with high gas prices, filling that 33 gal tank takes another swipe...
I had my AC behave like yours for the first few hours after replacing the battery. You might be losing power to the AC intermittently. I would check for loose ground connections and maybe reseat the fuses.

I wonder if you make like you are going to trade it in when you get it back, the dealer might factor in any reduction in value?
If so, that paperwork might be valuable to help with your claim if you compare it to blue book value for a trade in of your truck before the accident.

46K on our Ram. Had the water leak by the driver's door which was fixed years ago under warranty.
Had a dead battery right at the end of warranty replaced
We don’t know how many miles the OP has put on since he reset the oil life. Before disconnecting the battery, maybe reset it again and keep track of the miles.
