If someone tried to get in and go without the keyfob, it would shutdown the truck. Leaving it running after starting is different.
In other words, the keyfob would still be needed to be able to drive off in the truck.

That sounds great. I have never owned a Nissan but have friends with all kinds of stories about their experiences. Like anything, individual mileage may vary.
I was mostly just adding sarcasm to the snarky post I replied to.

I realize this is only one study, but still interesting to me.

The only way I could tolerate my 2018 EcoDiesel was with a tune that disabled the EGR and fixed the delayed acceleration from a stop. This is known data on the EcoDiesel trucks. If you didnt do a tune you can use something called Pedal Commander just to resolve the acceleration problem.
But I...
I traded my 2018 EcoDiesel for my 2020 Longhorn because of the same concern. I just decided that I was not willing to take continued risk of premature failure. My understanding of the Gen 3 3.0 changes is that they are improvements to components that should increase durability and reliability...
I would say it all sounds good except the short box.
Considering you are towing, the longer bed is better. But it may not matter that much overall.
I would also be sure you get 3.92 gears and 33 gallon tank.
I realize life is full of compromise so it really is up to you to decide what is...
It has to do with line of sight and the lower mirror center point. Hard to describe but it really is an advantage.
I do like the tilt in reverse function of the Ram premium side mirrors but the Ram tow mirrors are ridiculously outdated.

As someone who has owned 3 F150s with this style of window, it definitely helps with side and rear visibility. This is mainly due to a better angle for the side view mirrors and especially in regard to the tow mirrors.
The RAM tow mirrors are a horrible design and the F150 is absolutely the...
Some people just don't have a sense of humor. They do ok as trucks. But they lag behind in most ways overall. It was a jab that really doesn't need to be defended.

I loved my 07 F150 Flareside. Drove it over 100k miles and never went back to the dealer. Great truck for me. It did have the 4.6 and that was on purpose. Ford was in the middle of the 5.4 spark plug issue and I wanted to avoid that.

I owned new Ford vehicles from 1991 to 2018. The last two were aluminum F150s and the last one actually had the door handle cable snap(the same design that has freeze issues). Ford has lost control of quality in an effort to maintain their sales position.
The 2015 I had threw a rod at 23k. It...
Ford doesn't put them on standard either. Not sure about GM. I think a majority of truck buyers couldn't care less about it.

I bought my 2020 at Troncalli. My previous Ram was bought from Hayes. These are both family owned if that makes any difference. I have only had the 2020 a couple of weeks now. I have no complaints about either dealership.

I have only had two. The first was a 2018 Laramie CC with the EcoDiesel and now I have a 2020 Laramie Longhorn CC with the 5.7 Hemi.
I owned a ton of Ford vehicles before these.
