Yesterday, 54 days into a 23 day repair, I stopped by to check on the truck after the third time I was told it would be ready by the end of the week (last week) with no call and no info when it wasn't done, yet again. Found the truck with no bed, no glass, no interior, a promise of Thursday this...
Yeahhhh
This is straight bs.
GM and Ford still sell plenty of trucks, and they certainly aren't "shelving" development of a new model for an interior refresh of one that's already scheduled....
I love my Ram's interior, but cmon now.
That's only because what you're searching is already pre-loaded into the map destinations as a result. I bet if you found a local business that has popped up in the last two years or less, it won't show up, because that's the whole point of the "online" search, it's supposed to give you live...
This information can be found in your owner's manual
And further research can be found across the internet
Because you have different wheels and tires from the factory spec's, you will have to determine if you have enough clearance to even run the type S chains at all. You may not because...
Welcome to the forums, glad you like your truck. I like mine too, but it's significantly slower than either Ecoboost F-150 when compared to similarly equipped trucks. The pedal commander is essentially the difference between wearing sneakers and wearing boots when touching the gas. It adds...
Before my truck went into the body shop, I played around a lot with the brake pedal pressure, and could neither get it to clunk more, nor less often, with different brake pedal applications during startup. Also, I've heard the clunk multiple times with remote start, and so have many others, so...
I get that it's a pain, but it's 2019, you're not stuck on the Oregon trail.
Uber to get the batteries
Call Enterprise for a rental (they'll pick you up)
Have the truck towed to the nearest dealer
Etc
Etc
Yeah it sucks, yeah it costs money, but you're (presumably) in America, driving a brand...
+1 for the air suspension being great. Haven't had any issues, or met anyone in real life with them either. My truck went through last year's New England winter just fine, not a hint of any weaknesses in sub zero temps, towing / hauling or not.
The instructions for when the key is dead say to place the key on the start button to start the truck. You can try that, try replacing the battery, or try having the key programmed to the truck again.
I'll save everyone some time here:
This guy bought a used truck (that isn't a DT Ram) and is a "full time mechanic" but was surprised to find a fleet tracking device in his used truck he didn't fully research or inspect.
