Nothing other than I saw that some people were having issues with the reception? I read through the whole thread saw back in the earlier pages a few prople were having issues. I’m a bit leery on messing with electronics so theres that as well lol.
Once I get back after Christmas I’ll be installing the Thinkware QXD3000 (i think this is the model) my wife got while she was in Korea. I had a 2channel with parking Thinkware in my GC for almost 10 years and replaced the battery once right around 5 years.
my only concern with a self install...
Ihad a can of disinfectant spray so pulled out the airfilter and sprayed that and spray a bit int9 the drain tube and on the vent intakes under the windshield (Those ARE the vent fresh air vents right?).
No smell on day 2 after doing that.
After looking at mine and spraying the drip tube and fresh air intakes with disinfectant, I thought of a question for the more technically inclined folks. Is the fact that the drip tube is facing “into” the wind (ie forward) allowing the air coming into the engine bay to blow the water back into...
Couple things I’ve found (from this forum).
- Costco and newer gas pumps, you have to push in then, hold down the nozzle. The catch on the nozzles have just enough play to make the sensor go off.
- take the AC off auto to prevent the mildew smell...
- 22’s ride rough (even with air...
Yeah they sent it over to drive auto. Honestly looking back I wish I hadn't done anything other than the film. I’m having a hard time seeing any benefit from the ceramic coat.
I was so close to getting the same trim . Main things that swayed me to my Ram, price, ramboxes, MFT and the night package.
I was very interested in the powerboost, 7.3kw gen, lay flat, massage seats, work surface. The lack of a night package is a bit off putting for me though.
Btw when you get your new truck with a mft, its not broken you just have to FIRMLY slam the main tailgate closed before you try to use the mft for a couple weeks before the rubber stops give enough to allow you to close it normally.
also the MFT is awesome, I rarely use the tailgate normally...
Myself, with optimum no rinse and 2x 1gallon buckets, about 30-45 minutes for a “quick” wash about 1x a week.
With cheap electric pressure washer, foam lance, wash mitt, and leaf blower about 45-60 min for good, complete wash about 1x a month or so.
Edit: in prosper dealing with this cold...
I got the partial front bra, windows tinted (heat rejection, uv) and 5 year ceramic from NTX clearbra.
Mostly happy with it, but found a white dog/cat hair on the passenger side mirror under the film and some spots where the grit from the train (I assume) wasn't completly removed during their...
Dunno if its already been said (probably has) but Costco replaced (just) the tips of their fuel pumps and thats what causes the issues for mine. I just end up sticking it all the way in then holding it down (lightly press down on top of handle) till it clicks off.
theres a bit of slack between...
Anyone have either of these? I’m looking at getting one to store in a RamBox if it will fit so I can load 2 man lifts or bulky/heavier equipment into the bed. One use case would be getting an elliptical into the bed on my own by using the crane (main reason I looked into this).
It looks like...
