Normal engine temperatures?

See my truck is at 31 psi for oil pressure. Oil and trans temps are about where yours are. It’s my coolant that worries me since it runs between 215-228 but gets to over 230 at times. No leaks that I am aware of, no warning lights and the gauges stay consistent so I might just be overthinking it since it’s a brand new truck.
Well i have the 5.7 hemi v8, not a tt 3.6l I6 so i couldnt compare it exactly as i wouldnt know, tbh your temps dont seem like nothing to worry about man. Could be its brand new and just needs to break in like you said but i think your fine. Also If its only spiking when accelerating and inclines then yeah you should expect your temps to rise a bit, other than that again, doesnt seem abnormal or crazy

He doesn't even have a TT 3.6 I6. He only has a 3.0 I6

Nah, he's got plenty of time since he's one of those guys that likes to let his oil drain for 743 hours before putting the plug in and refilling it, instead of just draining and refilling like a rational person. o_O:whistle:

My Oil temps never get above 225F when towing.. I towed the 24' enclosed as recently as this past week to Shenandoah (mild mountains) and she still stays that low.

You said oil temps. What was your coolant temp?

I noticed there's another coolant leak around the water pump, will the leak cause the coolant system to run hotter than normal since it isn't a sealed system? I frequently see temps 220+(as high as 228) especially when towing enclosed trailer on moderately hilly roads or in stop-n-go traffic. Non-towing temps rarely exceed 218.
Also, what is the best water pump gasket? I replaced the water pump a year ago and it is leaking in multiple spots around the gasket (pump w/gasket purchased at O'Reilly) Fel Pro 35907 is what I am planning to purchase. Should I also use sealant with this new gasket?

Hello,

This is my first post on 5th gen rams forum. I have a question about the normal operating temperatures for the 2019 Ram 1500 5.7 Hemi Lone Star. I’m seeing the following temperatures while on the freeway at speeds of 70-75MPH, ambient temperatures are 90-100F.

coolant temperature: 204F(min)-217F(max)
Transmission temperature: 179F(min)-188F(max)
Oil temperature: 210F(min)-225F(max)
Oil pressure: 50-52 PSI

do these temperatures sound normal for highway driving in the summer? What temps do y’all see with your trucks?
so at 88 degrees here in Minnesota a late summer surge running about 65 to 70 for 30 , minutes my numbers are almost the same as yours , 2019 Ram 5.7 Bighorn , Torque and also about 65 percent Humidity. Hope this helps

Of the surface is prepped properly, and clean, it should not leak, but it wouldn't hurt to put some gasket tack on it.

As far as temps, yours sound normal. And these coolant systems are not considered sealed systems anyways.
