I do think the issue is with the module. It isn't that it's a different part number because 2388 and 7978 part numbers are virtually identical hardware wise. I don't know why only the left speaker would not work though unless it's a wiring or hardware failure.

Thank you theRamguy, So... I just went and borrowed a buddy of mine's Module, but his truck is Canadian. His module number is 68329882AJ, which I found out will work just fine. We plugged in and right away I had sound to all of the speakers (tested each one individually). but then had no backup camera or passenger heated seat icon on the screen. After 3 or so hours I went out there to take it off and noticed that I now had a backup camera and the passenger heated seat icon showed on the controls display.........but had no sound at all to any of the speakers, I tried to do the soft reset by pressing down the volume knob and it wouldn't reset. I saw somewhere on here that it may take up to 48 hours for the module to fully function correctly. do you think this is the case? should I try it again? my buddy is out of town for a few days and told me I can use it if needed.

WOW.... this post is amazing. I have tried to read all 104 pages and my head is swimming.

I have a 2019 rebel that came with the useless 5" screen. I really want to upgrade to the 12". It seems most on here are going from the 8.4 to the 12. I assume that process is the same from the 5" to the 12? I looked at the Phoenix but really want the OEM interface. Some are selling this upgrade for 4k but I think it is worth looking into doing this myself. I am recovering from chemo, however I think I can handle the install. It does not look too bad.

I saved a post that mostly outlines the process and parts list. Can anyone confirm that this will work starting with the 5" with Sirius? Any help would be amazing. So much info here that it is hard to filter what I really need. amazing post!!!

Hey
It should work no problem, process is the same, you gonna need screen, module, dash bezel most likely harness for hvac controls(I'm recommending contacting Jimmy07), AlfaOBD software and OBD scanner(OBDlink MX+) and metric screws for mounting screen on to bezel(doesn't come with) extra 4 screws to mount module on bracket.
As for Sirius new unit should come with demo so you will have to switch radio id with Sirius rep.

This post is so full of information I am getting lost in pile of part numbers and things to buy...lol Does anyone know of a comprehensive list of part numbers? there few on here, however, some are for 2500, some are for 2021's.... Hard to filter the right things to purchase and they are pretty pricey, so I don't want to get the wrong stuff.

I need some help. I purchased a 2021 Ram Laramie. The previous owner upgraded to the 12in screen. Everything was working until the dealer went in and wiped out the gateway. What stuff do I need to get this reprogrammed again? The radio works but the screen in black. If you hit the lower right corner you can see the screen pop up for 2 seconds then go blank again.. I would appreciate the help on what I need to do.
Thank You

Hi, in addition to AlfaOBD software you will need :
1. security gateway bypass module
2. OBD link MX+
and then follow the post # 308 to program car computer.
After its all done you would have to wait an hour or so for all settings to activate.
Hope it helps,

Would this parts list work for a 2021 Rebel that has a 8.4 w/Nav?

If you swap it does take quite a while for the settings to show up unless you do a hard battery reset. Even with that you should have audio. If it's a different issue where the volume knob isn't working that is different. Check if you can change the volume with the steering wheel control. If that works its a setting in alfaobd that needs to be confirmed.

That aside if audio doesn't work at all I'm worried there is an issue that I don't know how to fix
