LOVE IT!!!!

My daughter used to help me wrench on my BMW when she was a kid. Fast forward about 4 years ago(she was 20), she was over visiting and we had to swap out her alternator--she did most of the work. I just came across the pics today!!! Smile came across my face because she was handling her business. texted her with those pics to her today!!!

Yeah there's really something to wrenching with your childern. When I was my daughters age I "helped" my uncle while he was changing rotors and pads on his 73 cutlass supreme. Looking back on it now I'm sure I was slowing him down, like my daughter was slowing me down, but if the lasting memory of helping work on the car stays with her like it stayed with me it was worth it and then some.

Installed the 2" ReadyLift leveling kit, no loss of ride comfort and a much better balance between front and rear wheel well spacing.

its the best. my 12 yr old son helped me install a bunch of things on my jeep. And he was there with me when I broke a body bolt. (not good!!!). He said he wanted to keep the broken bolt. I asked why. He thought it was cool and that some day he didn't want to make the same mistake.

Finally got my 2” front lift and fitted Nitto Ridge Grapplers 35”x12.5x20 on Fuel Vapor 20x9x-1. Also fitted a Pedal commander. Man does that make a difference.

Obviously need to sort out the Speedo difference. Will read up in here. Will be listing the original wheels and tires for sale (3,000) lite mi.

Installed the Pedal Commander today (not a fan so I am selling it), removed the Big Horn emblem, removed the Visor warning stickers (have a little glue left to get off) and detailed the inside/outside of the truck for my road trip later this week. I have a before and after of my Laramie to Limited rim swap that I did a few weeks ago now that the truck is clean and I also have a before and after of the Big Horn emblem coming off:

Had a bit of fun this weekend getting off the beaten path. Found a nice relatively empty campground and some fire roads to explore.

Also ripped out my trailer wiring and put a nice road scar into my bumper by taking the trailer over a cattle guard on a dirt road a bit too fast and getting it slightly airborne. Need to look into a better hitch setup for the types of roads I want to travel. Or I could slow down. Probably better off with a lock n roll hitch. You can see below where I dragged it for a little bit in the dirt. Whoops. At least it wasn’t pavement!

Cue up the bungee cord to get us home with working brake lights.

Oh and put in some super duper fancy battery powered push LEDs for the bed that I found for $3 in the checkout line at the grocery store. Good enough for me. :)

Man I love your truck! If I'm not mistaken, I is your truck on customoffsets that made me decide to go with 18s!

Well, it's been about 5 months in the making, mostly because I've been overseas, but today I finally achieved the perfect balance of chrome and body color matching on my Laramie. Took me 6 hours, working slowly and carefully, to swap the matched mirror caps and front end pieces.

Haha no way! Yours turned out great!

I should have gone ahead and done the full 3.5” ready lift that you did instead of just the 2” + UCAs. Called up readylift - I can get the preload spacer but they won’t sell me the rear hardware separately.

You can get rear pucks from places like daystar or others that will do just fine.

All ball busting aside it would be great to see a summary of what you liked and disliked about each system. Be curious to see.

Also, did you ever install the magnaflow catback and if not, curious why? What’s getting installed now?

I’ll do a review of everything that I’ve had installed exhaust wise later today. What has been installed today is a Mopar cat back paired with my Carven black tips. Definitely has a nice sound to it and one that I’m sure my wife will be accepting of.
