What did you do to your Ram today???

Came home from the beach to find the white/blue box at front door!!!!

Can we say Hell--to--the---wig!!! Hellwig rear sway bar.

Also finally added the OEM side steps...big difference for my back and legs getting in/out!!!

Let me know how you like the hellwig!

Is there much difference between the 2? Would the Amp Research clear the Magnaflow cat back system better as I understand the Mopar one interferes with the big exhaust tips.

I don’t have experience with the AMP and I have stock exhaust so I’m not much help for you there. Sorry.

anyone installed the decoders for the Lastfit H11 LED headlight bulbs on the 2019 Ram 1500 ? If so where did you guys mount the decoder since it says they get very hott and not suppose to go inside the dust cap ?

Sticker $73 Canadian, on the road £58K which includes shed loads of UK tax. More or less straight swap USD MSP before rebates to GBP ignoring exchange rate.
Fairly strong money but theres nothing like them here, for perspective a top spec Nissan Frontier would be about £30K.
Think dealer has good set up and his profits are the discounts/rebates he gets, if I privately imported I doubt I'd be able to save much and have all the hassle.

How big will a truck like ours look on the road compared to other vehicles there? Seems like it would be a monster.

I don't think its very big but everyone else does! About the same as a reasonably sized panel van, perhaps a bit wider and a bit shorter than the really long ones. I actually like the LHD, means you can tuck into the kerb easily, also blind spot detection is very handy on highways as can be difficult to see cars alongside when you want to overtake. Parking spaces can be a squeeze so best to go shopping at quiet times and park furthest away to avoid door dings.

Got the first oil change, dealer adjusted rear door. Andddddd now my backup camera doesn’t work, doesn’t switch when put in reverse and when manually selected it’s only a blue screen...... ideas?25426

My guess is they disconnected the battery at some point for some reason and that can happen after that for a little while. Give it time and it usually corrects itself. If not take it back in.

I got an AMP Research step after the dealer wanted around $600 for the Mopar step. Is that in the ballpark? I paid a little over $200 for mine
When I factory ordered my truck, the step was only $50 cdn. I couldn't pass that up.

Pull the fuse to the headunit...wait one minute and plug it back in. See if that will cause it to reboot.

My daughter (9) asked if she could help install the nerf steps which made it take longer but it was great.

LOVE IT!!!!

My daughter used to help me wrench on my BMW when she was a kid. Fast forward about 4 years ago(she was 20), she was over visiting and we had to swap out her alternator--she did most of the work. I just came across the pics today!!! Smile came across my face because she was handling her business. texted her with those pics to her today!!!
