Did you have to remove that factor "bin" part that drops down? I am tracking that is standard on the Rebel (mine has it) and it seems like it would get in the way. Thx.
No, you just fold it down and it goes right over the top of it.

I never stick mine down though in case I want to take it out if I'm getting a load of something that would mess it up
Ohh that’s good to hear! I was actually thinking of not sticking it down. The only time I wouldn’t have the tonneau down would be because my motorcycle or other cargo would be in the back. Should hold it down.

Chemical/acid resistant etc, I use one for gravel, oily things and all sorts, usually a quick sweep or wipe restores it or quick jet wash if a big mess. I'd rather it did its job than make a mess of my bed. Still looked good 2 to 3 years later when sold with the truck.

Installed Diode Dynamics LEDs in third brake and cargo lights, replacing the crappy ones from Amazon. Glad to be flicker free back there again.

Got the HP5 brake light and went with the HP36 cargo lamps. Was concerned they wouldn't be nearly as bright as the Amazon "1000 lumen" LEDs since they are rated at 210 lumens, but these appear to be exactly as bright. I didn't spend extra for the XP50 which they rate as twice as bright - 410 lumens. Totally pleased with the HP36 LEDs.

For reference, the Amazon LEDs were these (do not buy as they last about 6 months and then flicker and burn out):

Here's the brake light from DD: https://www.diodedynamics.com/3rd-brake-light-led-for-2011-2019-ram-1500-2500-3500.html

For those still contemplating tint configurations -- just finished with mine today. Forgive the pics, I just got back from a trip and it's going to rain the next few days--it needs a bath.

Front & Brow: Global QDP 05 (4%)
Rear and Rear Passenger: Lllumar CTX 25 (28%) on top of factory 20% tint = 5.6%

Total cost was $430. Both products are ceramic, which helps with heat reduction and was worth the extra cost to me. I would've gone with LLumar in the fronts, too, but they didn't have 5% in stock.

For those with lifts and/or bigger tires I used Rough Country's speed calibrator yesterday. I was reading about 4-5mph slower than I was actually traveling (at 55-60 mph) before calibration using a GPS speed app on my phone to compare. Was super easy to use and I'm now dead on with speed/MPG/odometer. Note that 35 inch tires aren't actually 35" when mounted and loaded. Mine are right around 33.75" so you'll need to measure and take an average and input that number into the calibrator.

I have a Pro Comp lift fyi so works with any lift/tires doesn't have to be RC.

Why did you buy a RED LED bulb for your brake light? The rule is that if there is a RED lens, you use a white bulb. If the lens is clear, then you get a red bulb. A WHITE bulb works better on a RED lens. If you're happy...I'm happy but whiter is brighter.

I used the red one from Diode Dynamics because that's what they recommended for this truck. I played around with it and while it is a red LED, once installed it appears just as bright and the same color as the "1000 lumen" Amazon cheap white LED. I'm not going to make a science project out of it since it looks virtually identical and should not burn out in 3-6 months. DD also gives a 3 year warranty so I'm done.

On a clear day, I can see Seattle from my house.
Just got back from a week-long trip out of the country to visit my Dad in California.
1. The Diamondback bed cover went on the day before I left. I like it, but need to find better clamps to hold it to the bed, because the ones they send work loose over time. Got it unpainted because summer is coming. May have it painted to match the truck.
2. Tired of seeing that unsightly black and chrome ram head emblem on the tailgate. Bought a black plastic one and a small can of spray touch-up paint from the dealership (Ivory Tri-coat is hard to find anywhere else), and after 3 coats of paint, a couple coats of clearcoat and a week's drying time, put it on today.

That's definitely unique. I like that black on white look so I blacked all mine out. I did color match the RAM on the from Grill.
