I have been eying up the adarac pro for awhile. I love how it attaches and also love that i can run a flip tonneau like BAK, which i want as I want the bakbox2 for small tools. I also load a snowmobile in occasionally(quad cab) so the bak has my interest. Its also my work truck but I dont like to have racks on always. I like that the adarac can be removed easily.Great setup here.
FWIW, I did something similar by going with the Adarac Aluminum Pro Series rack. Works perfect and I can remove it completely. I then cover the stake pockets with flush Bull-ring black chrome popup rings to maintain a clean look. Love both products. Absolutely no conflicts with my Mopar (Bakflip) hard folding cover.
Here are some pics in a post I made on another thread.
Kayak transport
I didn't have an issue hauling my 12' kayak in my 2500 with 8' bed. But with the very short bed, I'm not sure if I should go with a roof rack, or headache rack and hitch rack or tower racks. My wife wants to join me this year so I'm going to get her a kayak, too. So, suggestions would be good...5thgenrams.com
Just illustrating options.

I was thinking about the other rear bar and a single bar on roof, as a cheaper way to go and fast removal, but those certain days i need longer lumber the angled setup wont work as well.
Ive been running weekender racks for many years but they need drilling, and I hate the rust that starts on bottom of bed from below on previous trucks due to the bottom holes drilled. And I need to remove tonneau to use the weekenders.
Having the tonneau and racks all work together is awesome, as you have. I just wish the pro was available in black, I would probably get them powder coated.
Thanks for the pics, looks great!
