What did you do to your Ram today???

Metra 72-7902.
I had the base 6 speaker package, in another thread several people upgraded from the Alpine to Kicker and were happy, from the HK more seemed to like the 3 1/2“ Infinity REF3032.

Did you have any problems with anc? Did you change polarities or just plug in adapters.

Not a bad call. I don't notice them what with Ohio's bright plates. Having an all black truck with white plates and blue/red lettering is irritating. Next year we get to take the front plate off as it will be longer be required.
We need New Jersey to do that to-do way with damn front plate

Shift knob stickers created today. Might think of some other more personal design but testing this material with the summer heat! They are a 1.5" circle if anyone is curious. Might go crazy and sticker all the buttons with some theme!!

Tinted my tail lights with VHT nite shades. Couldn’t stand the red with the gray and black. I think they came out just right. Still need to wet sand them and apply clear coat but that can wait. Definitely going to do the third brake light too, just waiting until I get LED bulbs so I can do it all at once.

What did I do to mine? F’d it up. Only the flare got damaged luckily. Can’t find a painted replacement. Might have to go aftermarket flares. Would be cheaper than having the dealer paint and install I’m guessing.

Sorry to see that..I saw someone on here bought a set of 4 OEM flares for around $250. Id bet you can get one for cheap and paint match it. Going aftermarket on all 4 could run 600-1000 to get them paint matched and all. However if you are after more aftermarket look now is the time to do it!

Finished polishing my truck, applied 1 coat of crystal serum light, and 2 coats of EXO v4. Overall time from wash to last coating was 18 hours. She looks damn good, have to see how it looks once it’s out of my shoebox sized garage.

Great choice of coating! I did my truck last weekend, started on a Friday morning and ended on a Sunday evening. You’ll love the CSL + EXO coating.

Your truck looks great! So far the coating has impressed me a lot! Even after the wash and clay process the paint wasn’t even close to as slick as it is now. It was worth the hours of prep!

Nice work!

I used to carry ladders all the time, but now I only carry them a few times per year. So Im leaning toward a simpler ladder rack setup that is quickly removed.

I liked your idea of using the rear stake pockets, and I see BACK RACK now has a "rear bar" they offer. It simply slides into the rear stake pockets for quick install/removal. This along with a simple single roof rack/cross bar will be a nice solution for long items. Should still allow for flush tonneau operation too.

Great setup here.

FWIW, I did something similar by going with the Adarac Aluminum Pro Series rack. Works perfect and I can remove it completely. I then cover the stake pockets with flush Bull-ring black chrome popup rings to maintain a clean look. Love both products. Absolutely no conflicts with my Mopar (Bakflip) hard folding cover.

Here are some pics in a post I made on another thread.

Just illustrating options.

On Tue night, I took my truck to the guys that ceramic coated it. They did a wash and nano spray.

Wed morning (yesterday), I took it to the dealer and had the power running boards and LED bed lighting kit installed.

I am super happy with how that ceramic coating makes the paint look. It's like it is wet all the time.

I am also very happy with the power running boards. I had the regular running boards on my 4th Gen. To me, this looks "cleaner" with the boards up. Maybe it gives me a little more ground clearance. And, the power boards stick further out and down when they are down, so they will make it easier for people like my dad (70+) to get in my truck.

Put BFGoodrich KO2s (275/55R20) on the truck yesterday evening, ordered my BakFlip MX4, and then gave my new tire a little curb rash!
