What did you do to your Ram today???

Technically it was last night, but it was too dark to get pics. I installed 1.5” spacers after I noticed a slight rub on the control arms at full lock. I did not have the problem until I went with the 35” tires.

Now I have to work the wheel liners a bit where the tires is contacting them at full lock. But I actually like where the poke ended up

Looks great, but I’d be getting some mudguards on it!
You’re still gonna be spittin mud and stones.

I am considering getting some different flares with mud guards, or some flat rubber guards like I had on my Dually.

Going to do some traveling with the dogs. Ordered one of these neoprene covers from Amazon to protect the leather center consul from claws.
Bought one before for another trip. Do you think I can find it?
Nope!….But damn sure it’ll show up before I leave!

Yeah, they don't have the best o-ring. I saw it start to pop out on first install and had to unscrew it and make double sure it stayed where it was supposed to. Havent unscrewed the bottom since. Isn't a need to. And mine has stayed right since I installed it

Mine is dryed out now. I think it pinched when I tightened it back up. It was set in place correct in initial install. Once I get around to it I'll measure the oring and order a higher quality one.

I went with a leather anti scratch type, I just leave it permanently. Mine is not a limited but it matches the BTS seats perfectly so it looks oem

I measured the o-ring and it appears to be 62x58x2mm. I ordered this one and will get it all back on when I can.

Continuing with my not-perfect-but-good-enough projects, I made a "kitchen counter" of sorts for my Kufu drawer system. It's somewhat inspired by this much nicer build, but simplified to match my utter lack of wood working skills.

Right now, it just gives me some prep space and a "sink".

I did not do a great job; this was the first time I've ever used a jigsaw or a router outside of maybe high school shop class, and it shows. My staining and sealing job also have a lot of room for improvement. I may redo this one day, but it's functional, and that's what I wanted.

I didn't do a coffee table lift like the linked project. Instead, I just cut a half-circle hole in the end of the "counter", and I can lift that up to store kitchen stuff (utensils, stove, etc.) underneath. Granted, that hole (and the cutout for the drawer's battery pack in the rear left corner) will allow water in while using the sink, so we'll see how well this design works out.

A 5'x5'x3/8" sheet of baltic birch plywood cost me all of $20, and I have some leftover, that if I decide to redo this project one day, all I lost was some time.

Edit: I should note that there's a cover on the "sink", which is a actually a catering pan, so if you thought, that looks way too shallow to be useful as a sink, now you know why. It's still relatively shallow at 2.8", but better than it looks!
that's a bougie color choice lol

or should i say, that color choice makes the whole thing look a lot more bougie!

Not today but yesterday I replaced my delaminating 8.4" Nav touchscreen with a supposed upgraded one that doesn't have the melting glue issue, we shall see. Not a bad job, took about 1/2 hour taking my time.

Got a link to the one you used for uh... future reference :ROFLMAO:

Well I didn't exactly do anything new to the truck but I did drive 16 hours straight, over 1,000 miles from S Carolina to Oklahoma City.
20.7 overall trip mpg, rode like a recliner on wheels. Can definitely put a lot of miles on and arrive feeling ok.

It matches my wife’s espresso, which is what makes her and me bougielanders after all!
bougielander is where it's at!

i mean, boogielander will break stuff and result in more expensive trip expenses LOL
