What did you do to your Ram today???

It isn't a drop of water in the sea though, it's a drop of oil in the air intake. As far as wallets being lighter, you can get them for $20 or make one for free with an old soda can
Old soda can? 😳 Now you're gonna hear "I'm not putting a .02 piece of aluminum on my $60k truck" 😂

Lol yeah you can buy one from china for $20 or make your own from Lowe’s with some air/water separators, If money is a concern.

But the same people will drop $400 on a hot air intake which does virtually nothing. Nor does it help the health of your engine.

Nothing major. Added door handle inlays and a Tuffy console.

I rented a camper for parents weekend at my kids college. Renting this for the weekend and getting a KOA camp site was cheaper than a damn hotel room!

If you don't mind sharing, how much did the rental run you? My wife thinks she wants to get a TT, but she has always hated camping. I think if we can get a few weekends in with a TT, I can get a better feel for whether or not I'd be wasting my $$

Took it to the dealer for a CEL, I had checked the code (PO441). They deemed it needed a PCM update, hope that cured it, CEL was still off when I drove it back home so that's a good sign, lol

Got my bed lined and replaced my factory 3rd light with a tinted one and lasfit LED’s. Next up is a sunroof…. Then I think I’m done for a while

And got a nice pic with the wife’s Cherokee.

Rvshare.com. friends just did 3 days 2 nights around $600 for an R-Pod. But that price also included delivery, set up / take down and a generator. They had a good experience.

I took the air dam and auto air dam off. Found some blacked out rebel wheels on Craigslist for $250. I couldn’t pass them up. I also could put the boring stock tires on them. I went with general grabber atx 275/70r18. Non LT. So they are light. I couldn’t tell any difference driving with them, vs the stock tires. Which is what I wanted. I didn’t want to take a big hit on mpg and torque. I love the look and am excited to try them out in the snow this winter. I may do a 2” lift up front to finish the look off. 5A96FB22-68A3-4E7D-97F8-C5541DD2FAB9.jpeg2FEEF655-18BB-462A-B6B0-94DEB12624AA.jpeg88E2898F-F413-46C4-88EB-8219090C821B.jpegDFB6F9D5-AD1F-40E4-B503-EAF70184C4B8.jpeg

Pulled my driveshaft today to regrease it and get rid of the driveshaft binding bump at stop lights.

This is how it came out.
It appears to me the the grease simply gets used up and vaporized as there was very minimal grease left on it when I removed it, female side looked the same.
There's no grease in the plastic accordion dust boot nor any running down the driveshaft, its just gone.
Below is same way I greased it 25K miles ago

Now re-greased and ready for reassembly.
About to run some errands and will check it but I am 1000% confident that it will butter smooth again just like last time.
Took about 5 min to remove and 20 min all together. Toughest part is compressing the two halves together with that grease; aligned/phased the 2 shaft halves, put a new clamp on and done.

Yes my truck is under warranty and they would fix this but I'd have to take it in, spend 20 min talking to them, get a rental or a ride home then be without the truck the 1-5 days it would take them to look at and address this. Took me 20-30 min including putting tools away. Dealer service isn't worth the time for this.

Neat storage system. How much room does that leave between the top of the bed? Enough for a spare tire, or no?
It leaves about 10 inches. Something like a 12.50 wide spare no it isn't fitting under a bedcover.
