What did you do to your Ram today???

I usually mix things up and go with something else the next time around but these tires were great. Add the fact there are not many non-E-rated options for the OEM 18" wheels for off-road tires and it was a no-brainer.

54K miles is a lot more than I was expecting for an off-road tire with no warranty. And they were quiet until the end.

There was still tread in the middle (not quite down to the 2/32" wear bars) but the edges were pretty much bald.

Can't go wrong with Ridgegrappler as your choice, they are just hard to stomach the price.

Installed the Rough20220106_121954.jpg Country Cold Air Intake.....wasnt too hard and could hear a little difference in the engine with it on. Have not looked at the gas mileage to see if it went up or not.

Dropped it off at the dealer. Had the rear window leak. Buckling my niece and nephew in one day and noticed water staining on the headliner. They said hopefully by early next week because they're taking it to a body shop. We'll see I guess!

That b!tch messed up my favorite fishing areas pretty bad, Point-Aux-Chenes, and of course Grand Isle, La.

Finally got a decent pic of my turn signal DRL's I think I'll keep it like this, definitely stand out in the crowd.

OK, I'm sure it has been mentioned but I don;t see it anywhere... How'd you do that?

Thanks,
RamLay

Wow, Thanks Dookie you're clearly a Wiz at that. So this is not traceable for any Warranty issues with the Dealer?

Not really anything to worry about there, you can revert back to the original setting, you are only changing factory settings that are already there. When you first connect, you do a backup file "Read System ID" with the PC version of the software. Then save the file on your desktop or wherever you want to save it and you have a grocery list of how your BCM is configured to reference in the event you make a change that you don't like or do it inadvertently, you can ctrl F search it and find the setting and change it back to the original setting.

To use the software, you just need to have a grasp of basic computer skills and get yourself familiar with how things work. I would have taken the time to learn it sooner, but since 2020 my life was just SUPER busy with work and life obstacles, but mainly work, so I just now have had the time to put in to learn what I needed to and play with it.

It's neat and works well, so far I have made 3 changes, the DRL location like you see, speedometer adjustment for larger (35") tires, and reenabled tailgate ajar warning so it will show up in the cluster and also the factory inside the bed LED's will come on automatically when you open the tailgate.

I do have a few more things I want to eventually do/add that would take a trip to the dealer to add them, not anymore. It feels good to have the knowledge and know-how to adjust things to my truck without the need of the dealership.

ETA: Also, the software isn't married to the truck, I can use it on any other vehicle it can communicate with...My wife drives a JGC Overland and will be messing with some things there too.

Fewer and fewer dealerships are adding sales codes these days. I don't know if it's corporate pressure or not but a year ago many dealerships would do it as long as you were willing to shell out the $$ for them to do it, but nowadays it's being played very close to the vest.

Nothing crazy besides replacing mu halogen bulbs with Led bulbs. Looks alot better, so it should hold me for several years until I decide if I want to go factory led set, or some morimoto led headlights

I unburied it, drove it down the hill and slid it in to a tree 😖
If only you had the 5’7” bed, you might have just missed it! All kidding aside, that’s terrible and I’m sorry for your trouble.

Took mine in for some work.. They didn't notice the turn signal drls. Or that my big horn says rebel in the cluster when I start it (that's how I figured out how to make the cluster theme stick) I've done quite a few things in alpha using the app and a OBDLink. It's been a great tool.

Repost of my amber drls for those looking.

Mine didn’t notice when I traded it in and forgot to switch the splash screen back

where does the cold air come in at?
Its kind of questionable if you ask me.....the reason I say that is because you still use the factory tunnel for a lack of better words to say that goes from the airbox to the front of the vehicle, so you are getting the same air you would with a stock air filter system.

I might have the wrong guy but I thought you bought a Rebel instead of waiting on Ram to build your back country ?
