Dropped mine back off at the dealer this morning. Hoping they find the leak this time. Super nice staff of people trying to find a difficult problem.

Today makes 7 days they've had it this time. Starting to loose hope. Thinking I got a bad truck.

Here's a pic for reference, you have to reach high...I'm having the same problem. Second pic is the drain tube grommet from the inside improperly seated.
This should not still be happening. I had this problem on my build of 06/18. Does RAM have a quality control department. Does anyone at RAM follow this or other forums. Pretty sad....
Sadly, FCA and Dealerships (maybe not all of them) do not recognize the drain plug problem. My truck was built in June, 2018 and had a problem with the drain plugs. There were others reported on this website before mine and others since.. No telling how many there really are out there, since only a small percentage of owners follow this website. So, it was happening way last year, it was happening in December last year. Sad. How hard could it be for FCA to fix this problem. And Dealers, how hard could it be for them to what should be a double check on FCA. And Ram Care, they do monitor this Forum, what can you say about their responsibility. If all they can do is write a nice little note on here and say they are sorry, or tell you they will contact the Dealer for you, then if they are in anyway corporately connected to FCA, then whomever is responsible in FCA for them should be fired!I own a Limited with just over 2000 miles. I purchased the truck Dec. 23rd, 2018 and the build date is Dec. 2018. I just discovered yesterday that my left rear floor mat is wet. The reason I found out is because I had a small pillow under the left rear seat, when I removed it to use it, it was wet. After reading several comments in this forum I checked the drain grommets in the back of my cab and neither one is in place properly. The left side is completely out of place and the right is partially out. I have an appointment scheduled with my dealer this Thursday. I will definitely bring this to their attention, although they probably already no about the issue since it seems to be a common thing after reading about this in the forum. I only assume this is causing the leak and hope it is nothing else.
Since it has been raining non stop for two days I thought I would inspect the truck myself and this is what I found. After removing the carpet panel behind the rear seats, the photos below show the drain tube grommet completely out of place and you can see where the water is leaking in around the hole where the grommet is suppose to be sealing it. Obviously this why my carpet is wet. I have owned the truck for almost seven weeks and I assume it has been leaking the whole time. While I had it apart I stoped by the dealership so they could actually see the water inside the vehicle. They started a work order on it immediately and put the grommets back in place as they should be. They did say they had seen this on one other truck. They also gave me a loaner so they could keep the truck to dry out the carpet.
It is a-shame that something like this slips through and is not caught during inspections at the factory or the dealership before delivery of the truck. Obviously this a common problem after reading this forum. FCA where is the quality control???
I really like this truck and hope it is not an indication of things to come in the future.

Looking at mine, looks to be the same problem. What do you think? Look to be incorrectly installed?
That’s what I thought. Taking it back to the dealer tomorrow :/Doesn’t look seated correctly
