Updated 2" Mopar Lift/Level Kit - Discussion

I’m not sure I want to add that second spacer.
The BJ appears to have excessive angle(see attached picture). Not sure on the CV axles.
What are y’all thoughts?
should I add 1/4” top hat spacer or
add the second ring at the bottom of the spring perch . FC1F3DD4-A4C1-4B3D-A553-68F5425A9B95.jpeg592B7BBB-1781-4BC4-9F9D-45A69A92FF56.jpegFC1F3DD4-A4C1-4B3D-A553-68F5425A9B95.jpeg

Might be a dumb question, but seems like most people are getting close to level with the off road springs...can I do that method if I only had a 2WD truck though?

The cost of the lift kit is $1,250 from 3 different dealers I checked. The cost to install including the alignment has been around the $500 range for a total cost pushing $1,800. I will be getting mine done in the next month or two. Love the look.
I know this is an older post, but my dealer service dept wanted 2464.00 for the kit and the install. No way I would pay over a grand for that

Just had mine done today. Paid $995 for lift from a Dodge dealer on Ebay. $400 to install, and adjust headlights. $90 for alignment. But the alignment ended up being free for buying the truck there.

Did you get the updated kit?
when you get a chance post a picture of the truck.

That's pretty much what all the NorCal dealers are quoting..I've had labor quotes as high as 2K which is absurd.

I paid 1,200 for the kit and a local shop is charging 600 for install including alignment. I don't trust my local dealer service dept to do the install.

If you look up the lift, it says 4 hours to install. That's exactly what my dealer charged me. It took them a little longer and they still only charged me $400. I would think anywhere between $400 to $500 to install would be a fair price. Anything more than that and there ripping you off.

Thanks for the info, I will show that to the local shop doing mine and maybe they will take that into consideration. I only have a quote of $600 right now as my lift is getting done next week so that number could change.

Your welcome. $600 isn't terrible. Comes down to what there shop rate is per hour. Plus make sure they adjust headlights and if going to bigger tires they calibrate speedo.

$600 is a good price. It took my dealer over the 4 hours. Plus the alignment was $90, that I got free for buying the truck there. So if they had charged me the full price, it would have been close to $600.

I typically charge 300-500 for a lift like this at my home shop, depending on if I have to bust out the spring compressor. Dealers and actual shops can do it faster because they have those commercial spring compressors - I have done several chevy lifts with pre-installed springs on lifted struts for 400.

Who in central Florida has had this lift put on and can reccomend a shop. Price, expertise, alignment, headlight leveling, radar cruise adjustment, speedo correction for larger tires. Who's the go to in FL?

I live in Maitland and have a shop at my house. I can install the lift for 400 but that’s where i stop, and recommend an alignment shop (Philips tire and auto in casselberry is my go to for trucks and my race cars).

Speedo correction, i would get a rough country tool or Tazer because the dealers around here will tell you no. I went with a Tazer for addd features. headlight correction i passed on, but can do it if needed. I haven’t heard about the radar cruise adjustment, as all that is needed is a speedo adjustment.

I see that the Mopar 2" Lift Kit, P/N 77072424AB is on sale at BAM Wholesale for $1083.13.

Now that winter is gone, I need to get this installed. Need a trustworthy dealer for an install price of $400-500 + an alignment. I am hoping that the kit is a single ring kit finally and not the interim 2 ring/shock kit. Just not a fan of that. The longer shock body before the neck down and a single ring is the way to go. Has anyone had the kit installed and only has 1 ring on the shock?
