Ultimate OBD JScan Thread

No wiring kit. It's a live feature of the TazerDT. Meaning it has to stay plugged in
I was thinking of this. If that’s all you want to do, it would save you a couple hundred bucks

Awesome info here! I just adjusted my tire size and fog light drop off.

I keep reading where some of you reset ecu's etc. How important and why?
Thanks, Greg

As I understand it, which isn't saying much, I think it's like when your computer glitches and you reboot it to "reset" it. The Alpha reset is much the same. If the process you are trying won't "start" or whatever, a "Reset" may be in order.

Hopefully, Jimmy or someone can confirm this or clarify it

If you’re changes don’t take, sometimes a reset of the particular module will be needed

Programmed the "Tailgate open" alert on my 2200 Big Horn after installing the correct hardware. Could not have been easier.

Adaption> search for Ajar> Tailgate Ajar Indication.
Change from "Deactivated" to "Activate"

Adaption> search for Ajar> Trunk Ajar Signal Input Present- On/Off
Change from "Deactivated" to "Active"

Not sure if I asked this already….since I have the signals as DRL, can I make them stay on with the headlights? Maybe this?

No. DRL dropout means you want the DRL lamp to shut off (drop out) when the turn signal is used- example: if the DRLs are the low beams, and you activate the left turn signal, the left low beam drl will shut off while the turn signal is blinking.
Since your turn signal lamps ARE the DRLs, this setting would be irrelevant to you.

That makes sense. Thanks @Jimmy07

If you disconnect your battery for a few secondsz it resets this as well. Which is why most people say they get better throttle response after installing a cold air intake. Since they disconnect the battery when they install it

I see. Thanks. I wonder why they have this procedure then.

This procedure doesn’t do anything for throttle lag, and disconnecting the battery doesn’t do the same thing. I had to perform this procedure when I swapped in adjustable pedals for my non-adjustable pedals.
Thanks @Jimmy07

Anyone know what this does?

I dont know that it does show up on the radio. I will have to look. Mine just shows up in the center EVIC.

Did you make the same changes I posted above?
