I was able to do this with Jscan. Read this thread. Hope this helps!

Question- who here has programmed a key fob to their 5th gen? I found 2 reviews on Amazon, of all places, while I was searching for a remote start key fob for my 2021. These 2 guys who wrote reviews for this key fob said they successfully programmed a key fob to their truck using OBD J Scan.

I haven’t. Still waiting for confirmation that it can be done as far as I know. Get the Amazon ones. You can always return them if unsuccessful

Yeah, you forgot to turn off that annoying horn honk in the UConnect settings.

Did you just enable remote start also?
Either way, drive the truck over 35 mph first, then try remote starting again.

It works. Guess I needed to drive it. My Tradesman now has remote start!
