Here's a question. Why is it that we seem to know there is an update, but when you navigate to Uconnect's website and check for one, it tells you there isn't one available based on the VIN.

I can totally see why a file is never able to be downloaded. Someone will probably end up bricking a radio. It would be nice to be able to "check" for an update via the radio vs it being pushed.

There's also no way for actually push an update to specific radios either, huh?

Your vehicle should of never had the S26.15, that was never released to the public. If you do have that, you should get the S26.17 when it becomes available for your region.

As i pm'd you.... my vehicle too has 26.15 and i havent done a thing, so saying it was never released is not true. At least 2 of us have that version and i agree.... "should of never had 26.15".... it has issues.

I DO have OTA software enabled, so must have updated like that or has been the initial version when i purchased my truck new in Nov of 2022.

I have appt pending with dealer, but would like to know if 26.17 will fix issues im having? Isnt there a list of "fixes" that 26.17 addresses?

The regional OTAs are they determinted per IP address region or VIN # at which region the truck was purched from or both?

and what about the export market. Is 26.17 released globally now? So if I would go to the dealer, they will be able to update my v23 to vs 26.17?

This would be for the U.S market. Before you can get the S26.17, your vehicle would need to be at 24.13/24.18.

The TSB states for vehicle that have the 24.13/24.18, as long as you're between the 24.13/24.18 with the 26.17, you should be fine.

I have updated to the 26.15 from 21B5 successfully Australian conversion.

Is there a way to turn the Wi-Fi hotspot on somewhere in the settings as it doesn’t appear anywhere in the settings also I have turned the feature on with Alfa OBD but it doesn’t come up

Well my heated seat/wheel icons stayed since last night. That’s a plus but we shall see. Last update before this they disappeared again a day later.

Haven’t noticed anything else different so far.

I’m guessing you have the 8.4 non nav radio? This update thread pertains to the 12” and 8.4” with nav radios.

8.4 non nav has different software, so different updates at different times for different issues, etc.
