Looks good with a trailer behind it.Ksilva211 said:Worked this time. Thanks!
Ksilva211, Would you be able to take a pic of your yellow payload sticker inside the drivers door? Me and a couple of other members are interested to see the real world payload capacities of these new trucks.I have the 3.92s and I had a chance to tow a little more weight today. Didn’t get on the scale but I’m guessing around 4 Ton of stone plus the Trailer. So probably between 11-12k total. Air ride leveled right out. Towed awesome. Power was decent. Not a diesel but I knew that going in. Overall I’m very pleased
That looks really good!Worked this time. Thanks!
Here is Laramie I've had for about a month now hooked up to my 30' WildWood TQBSS30. 10K lbs fully loaded and about 7300lbs dry. I have since installed 8600lbs TIMBRENS that I also had on my ram 3500 dually megacab and no more sag.
1989 Chevy Stepside w 383 stroker
2014 Porsche Panamera Turbo
2018 Ford Explorer
2017 Can Am Maverick XMR 1000RR
2019 RAM 1500 LARAMIE
Actually the timbrens on the dually areThe Timbrens from your 3500 fit right in? Surprised the bump stop mounts are identical. How much space between bottom of timbrens and your axle? I have timbrens on my 3rd gen but not enough space when empty so ride can get jarring at times.
Hey Laz, we picked up a 19 big horn, 4x4, hemi, no etorque, and also the 3.21 gears. We purchased this prior to determining we are considering buying a 26-30ft travel trailer. What exactly are the timbrens you are referring to? Will my stock truck pull it ok, and how horrible was the gas mileage? That looks really good!
I went to San Diego/Chula Vista Koa and got 10-13mpg on flat and 8-9 going uphill which wasnt much uphills. And its pulls my 30' TT with no problem. It pulls it off the line rather quick if you like but I'm conservative driver and take my time. I did test it to see overtake a couple of times but then back to 62-65mph. I dont use cruise when towing as I get better mpg manipulating the throttle w my foot. As for the timbrens...here's a short clip of the product.Hey Laz, we picked up a 19 big horn, 4x4, hemi, no etorque, and also the 3.21 gears. Thanks for the info, that eased my mind!I went to San Diego/Chula Vista Koa and got 10-13mpg on flat and 8-9 going uphill which wasnt much uphills. And its pulls my 30' TT with no problem. Please do good research and shop around for what you feel is best for your truck as there are many options. I use these bcuz I am familiar and theres basically no point of failure as it's hard...super hard rubber (8600lbs capacity is what I use). I have used them in my past 2 trucks and now this new 2019 Ram 1500. Good luck and if you have anymore questions please feel free to ask.
Nj921, got home a few hours ago from vacation w the family and I snapped a pic of my timbrens installed on my 2019 Ram 1500 Laramie. Thanks for the info, that eased my mind!
Awesome, definitely installing them when i decide to get the trailer. I’m assuming your truck has the electronic brake controller since it’s the Laramie? I can’t find the oem part or part number anywhere. I’d rather have the factory one than a separate box mounted under the dash.Nj921, got home a few hours ago from vacation w the family and I snapped a pic of my timbrens installed on my 2019 Ram 1500 Laramie.
I'm picking up an enclosed trailer this Saturday...I'll post pics. As for the OEM Brake controller, best bet be give the dealership a call or get ur sunscreen on and start surfing the netAwesome, definitely installing them when i decide to get the trailer.
