So how was the trip to pick it up. Looks like a perfectly matched team there.

Can't wait to here how it does towing with its contents

It took about an hour to get out to where I purchased it a week ago. I had them add on jack stands in the rear, E-Track on both sides inside of trailer, couple extra d-rings on floor and spare tire w its mount on wall inside as well...hence why I picked it up a week later. The ride back was great, did 65-70mph on the I-10 all the way home. Pulls it easily. It also weighs 3250lbs dry so that has a lot to do w the ease. I averaged 13-14mpg within that hour. I could overtake semis on the slow lane easily when needed. Very happy w the set up and my trucks ability to tow this and my 33' travel trailer.

I appreciate Laz reports, as many are wondering if they made a mistake not ordering the 3.92 rear end. For those who do not tow daily, the 3.21s are fine. I tow a tandem axle utility trailer to haul a tractor and implements between properties (7000#) and a bass boat (3500#) to the lake. The 3.21s are up to the task for this type of towing. I would not hesitate to tow larger trailers within the trucks towing capacity. When not towing, I like the slight increase in MPG and lower RPMs going down the highway.

There is no question the 3.92s shine off the line and in the mountains. If towing is a primary use, I would not hesitate to get them. But the truck is fully capable of towning with the standard rear end.

Very well said and true, this is our second trip towing the 33ft TT and it pulls my trailer w ease. Granted I stay at about 65-67mph but it's nice to be w my family and talk about more things along the way on the road.

Do you have the air suspension? Your truck looks like it has all sorts of space between the rear tires and the wheel wells. Is that because of weight distribution hitch? I tow a 28ft travel trailer and if I do not use the weight distribution hitch, you can see how much it compresses the rear suspension. I had progressive rubber helper in my 2014 and it made a big difference. I am currently looking for suspension help for my 2019 ram.

I use Timbrens (SES) in lieu of the factory bump stops. Just hard rubber boots is all they are and only allows 2" of travel on my rear end and that bcuz I have 1-1/2" gap from Timbren to rear axle. Once I put the WDH it takes off another half inch. No air ride due to voiding factory warranty.

Here is Laramie I've had for about a month now hooked up to my 30' WildWood TQBSS30. 10K lbs fully loaded and about 7300lbs dry. I have since installed 8600lbs TIMBRENS that I also had on my ram 3500 dually megacab and no more sag.
