Me too. I have the current uconnect software but my cluster will not hold memory. Will this ever be resolved? Lol

Probably not. It's been more then two years... I really think this problem will never be solved, not by FCA anyway. I got a TazerDT and solve it myself.

What does the taser do for this issue? Hold a better memory?

IDK exactly but it never changes back to default... Even when you unplug the tazer, it stays the same.

Humm. May consider that as a solution then. It's not a big deal, but it does bug me. I like everything to be the same. Lol
What other key features does the taser offer? I had the pulsar on for a min just to change wheel diameter. When I removed it, it held.

The Limited theme been like that for over a month now.
It loads his own splash screen to the bcm i guess, because it even says "Limited" when i start the truck, so it's definitely not the original splash screen that the truck has.

That's good to know. Since all this quarantine b/s, I'm starting to look back into mods. Lol just replaced the front dash speakers. Have door speakers on order. Going to order some 5100's prob today, tomorrow....lol

My ram is up to date, but the theme in cluster still goes back to default, when will this get fixed, been over a year!

This response is — frankly — insulting. This has been a known software issue since day one. We need the update that has been promised "next quarter" for at least the last year and a half. I started to feel a sliver of hope when other owners started reporting getting UConnect updates but those appear to be rolling out only to the 12" system and 2020 models. The 2019 models with the 8.4 system have been snubbed thus far.

It is insulting. Maybe they would do better just telling the truth instead of blowing smoke up our tailpipes. The issue is too minor for them to give a damn. RamCares people are just middle men - some good some bad. But they have no control other than to escalate it to engineers. And I really don't think enough people have complained to get action. Same thing with the lack of voice to text.
So I thought I read that the Tazer from Z Automotive will make the theme stick on the cluster? Can someone confirm this is true? I of course have the same issue.
I’ve noticed that I lose the theme after the car has been off for over an hour - under an hour, I can turn the car back on and it sticks. After an hour, it defaults for the instrument cluster. I’m sure it’s the same for everyone else.
Dealer, largest in South Florida, of course says: I’ve never heard of such a thing. Must just be your truck. Nothing but idiots at the wheel.
