Remote App

The more I've tried to look into this the more I think the module is integrated into the radio. The parts websites I have looked at do not have any 2019 parts available however it states for older models see underline. Also my radio is a Panasonic, do you know what yours is? You can see it in the dealer mode screen.
MODULE. TELEMATICS.

It figures it will probably require a radio swap. That is not going to be fun. I still think it's odd that serious can access the vehicle remotely which leads me to believe the telematics unit is okay.

I don't think Sirius ca access your car if it has been shut off a 1/2 hour or more. That would be a good test. Just call them from your house or cell and see if they can locate your truck and remotely unlock it. If it has been sitting over a half hour I bet they can't.

The whole purpose of the app is to be able to start/lock/unlock just like you had the key fob and were within feet of the truck. With my F150 I messed with my kids while I was in Dallas and the truck was home in Indiana. Started my truck while they were getting home.....and it started instantly. The app will start/lock/unlock if you haven't touched the truck in over 30 minutes. It was sold with the feature to locate it at any time as well. I think it takes 72 hours before the module goes into hibernation mode...

You are probably right, if the system is working correctly.

From what I've gathered, it is. Sirius is just slow. Very slow. This wouldn't have prevented me from buying the Ram, just a major letdown when compared to Ford. I'd use the app vs the keyfob multiple times a day as it was just as quick....

FCA if you're reading this...take notes from Ford on the app functionality...

My 12.1 UConnect prompted for a software update yesterday. I did the update but I still have this issue where if the truck sits parked (turned off) for more than 1 hour none of the remote commands work. Remote Start, Vehicle locate, etc all fail.

Is the truck info available yet after the update? I still only get this page on uconnect app.

Nope, my Uconnect app looks the same as that.
How did you take a screenshot of that?

I have an iPhone Xs Max. I press the power button and the volume up button together and it will take a screenshot.

Also, I think we should be able to adjust the temp via the uconnect app.

FWIW I called into Sirius Guardian Tech Support today and was told the inability to locate the vehicle is a known issue that they are working on....they are supposed to let me know when it's resolved.

Awesome. They told me the same thing for the sports section. They did call me back to ask me more questions. Said they will expedite the fix and get back with me.

UConnect and SiriusXM Guardian app both worked for me. The UConnect app seems to work better.

There are two versions of Uconnect remote apps. The Guardian app I could never get to work correctly, as in your case and the Uconnect app works perfectly on my phone and starts, locks and locates my truck in seconds... without fail to date.

Search Google Play store and try the other app. Phone support and dealer employees are clueless.
I use that same app and haven't had any issues. Sometimes it can take a bit to connect. But it has always worked for me.

Anyone having issues with the Sirius Guardian app? My truck is barely a month old and I have only been able to connect with the app 3 or 4 times to unlock or start. I have tried to unlock, start, and locate the vehicle at least 50 times but it always fails. I spent over an hour on the phone with Sirius a week ago and about 30 mins on the phone a few days ago. I have also uninstalled the app and rei stalled at least 10 times. They can send successful commands. Immediately after they send a command I can successfully send a command once then it fails again. Sirius says to ask dealer to check telematics module. I dont believe it's bad as all other functions that telematics module controls work fine like bluetooth, nav...I think it's a software issue. Sirius Guardian is useless. I will run it by the dealer at my first oil change but I doubt they will find anything wrong with the module. I will certainly not pay for the service once it expires.
Yeah My app stopped working too. Go to mopar.com and you can access remote commands there
