Rebel GT Exhaust question

Initial impression is WOW!!! Really hit it out the park, IMO perfection.

A couple of things while it's fresh, if you have a Hellwig swaybar with adjustable end links, unbolt the drivers' side end link to allow clearance for removal/install, probably a good idea on stock sway end links too. Second, if you bought a G/T and have to second guess if it has the correct exhaust, IT DOESN'T. Third, if you buy the G/T exhaust, and have stock resonators get the passenger side RH resonator as well, a very noticeable difference between the drivers' side and passenger side.
Sorry, no vid yet, will try and get a cold start-up for y'all when it cools down.

Awesome to hear such great news. What was the PN you ordered? Just want to make sure I have the correct one!

Dammit now I have to go check the dealer for this exhaust. Sucks I just did the borla muffler a few weeks ago haha.

Cut clamp with resonator delete

How do you like it and how would you say it sounds compared to that GT video? This is definitely a cheaper option 😂 how’s drone in eco or regular?

BTW, zero drone in Eco...

I had a feeling that would be the case since it’s “made for the truck.” A lot of after market catbacks tend to sound great but when the truck goes into eco they get whacky because the back pressure changes. E.g. The GMs have a flapper that closes to reduce the pipe size when in eco, and if you don’t shut that off in drones like a b@stid with a catback.

Good to know tho. And sounds great! Thx for the info!

the actual G/T sounds a bit less raspy, and probably a quieter on the road, it does sound good.

I immediately turn eco off, so i couldnt tell you about any drone, but in regular there really isnt any other than the occasional sound pulling a hill before it drops a gear.

Do you turn it off with something like the Range AFM does for the GMs? if so what's the product name? Interested to know for when the time comes, because turning off "eco" in the settings doesn't turn off the multi-displacement mode, it just turns off the indicator in the cluster - which i always found kinda dumb, but Chyrsler has had it that way since around 2013.

Also guys, i just thought of this... could be nothing but can the guys who know they ordered G/Ts and also now know they did NOT get the exhaust let us know what plant your trucks came from? possibly there could be a QC issue with only one or a couple of them? would be nice to know since we can tell from the VIN where they're coming from. the Letter in position 11 (the last letter before the final 6 digits tells you the plant. see below. Just curious if it is a pattern.

All of the DT trucks come from Sterling Heights.

yipe!! well i guess that doesnt narrow anything down hahaha. and i just looked at the tracker and just now noticed all the NN's hahaha

I'm going to go to the dealer and see if they can order it and cost. If not I might just go Carven. Tons of money I've spent.

They can order it at cost, not sure they will sell it at cost. I would guess best case is $550-600.
